Mysuru, September 7, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Dr. Govidnarajan Padmanabhan, Professor (Retd.), Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, and Prashanth Prakash, Chairman, Vision Group On startup were accorded doctorates at the University of Mysore’s 101st Convocation held at the Crawford Hallin Mysuru today. Hon’ble Governor of Karnataka Thawar Chand Gehlot accorded the doctorates to them.
Dr. Govindarajan Padmanabhan, who hails from Tamil Nadu, has served at the Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru, as a Director. Axel Partners Founder Prashanth Prakash has identified himself in a lot of social works. He had strived to provide free COVID vaccination to the tribals in remote hamlets during the pandemic period.
Higher Education Minister Dr. C.N. Aswhathanarayan, Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore, Prof. R. Shivappa, Registrar (Exams), Prof. A.P. Jnanaprkash, and others were present.
