ಮೈಸೂರು,ನವೆಂಬರ್,27,2020(www.justkannada.in): ದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಅಸಮಾನತೆ ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸುವುದು ಜತೆಗೆ ಶೋಷಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳಿಗೂ ಸಮಾನತೆ ಕಲ್ಪಸುವುದು ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಉದ್ದೇಶವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೈಸೂರು ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯ ಕುಲಪತಿ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ಮಾನಸ ಗಂಗೋತ್ರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಕಾನೂನು ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿದ್ದ ‘71ನೇ ಭಾರತ ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ದಿನಾಚರಣೆ’ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಪ್ರೊ.ಜಿ.ಹೇಮಂತ್ ಕುಮಾರ್, 2020ರ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಸಮಾಜದಲ್ಲಿ ಜಾತಿ, ಶೋಷಣೆ ಜೀವಂತವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ತೊಲಗಿಸುವ ಮೂಲಕ ಶೋಷಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯಗಳ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಪೂರಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ರೂಪಿಸಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಆಧುನಿಕ ಕಾಲದಲ್ಲೂ ಜಟಿಲಿವಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವ ಜಾತಿ ಮತ್ತು ಶೋಷಣೆಯಂತಹ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಅಸಮಾನತೆಯನ್ನು ತೊಡೆದು ಹಾಕಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಸಮಾಜದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳ ನಡುವೆ ಕಳೆದ 70 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರತ ಹಲವು ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳನ್ನು ಎದುರಿಸಿ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಶೀಲ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರವಾಗಿ ಮುನ್ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಇದು ಸಂವಿಧಾನದ ಸಾಧನೆಯೂ ಹೌದು ಎಂದು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ನಂತರ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಆರ್‌ಎಸ್‌ಎಸ್ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಪ್ರಾಂತ ಸಂಘದ ಚಾಲಕ ಮ.ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮು, ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಕಾನೂನು ಬೇರೆಯಲ್ಲ. ಸಂವಿಧಾನದಲ್ಲೆ ಕಾನೂನು ಇದೆ. ಸುಮಾರು 2 ಸಾವಿರ ಭಾಷೆ, ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜಾತಿಗಳು, ಭಾಷಿಕ ಲಿಪಿಗಳು, ಕಾನೂನುಗಳು ಹೀಗೆ ವೈವಿಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಒಳಗೊಂಡ ಭಾರತವನ್ನು ಒಂದು ಮಹಾಗ್ರಂಥದ ಮೂಲಕ ಒಂದುಗೂಡಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಸಂವಿಧಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರರ ಘನತೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಹಾಗೆಯೇ ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರ್ ಅವರು ಶೋಷಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹುಟ್ಟಿ, ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಕಷ್ಟದ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಿಂದ ಮೇಲೆ ಬಂದವರು. ಆದರೂ, ಯಾರನ್ನು ದ್ವೇಷಿಸಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಆದರೆ, ಅಂಬೇಡ್ಕರರನ್ನು ಜಾತಿಯ ನೆಲೆಗಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ನೋಡುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ದುರ್ದೈವ ಎಂದು ಮ.ವೆಂಕಟರಾಮು ಬೇಸರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.

Mysuru, Nov. 27, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): “Eliminating social inequality and providing equality to even the downtrodden communities are the major objectives of our Constitution,” opined Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, Mysore University.
He inaugurated the 71st National Constitution Day programme held at the Law School, in Manasa Gangotri. In his address, he expressed his displeasure with the existence of inequality and casteism even in 2020. He said that there is a need to eliminate inequality and introduce a relevant programme for the upliftment of the downtrodden communities. “Despite all these problems our country has been successful in walking towards the path of development in the last 70 years. This also is as a result of our constitution,” he opined
In his address M. Venkataramu, Convener, RSS Karnataka South Zone opined that constitution and law are not different law is in the constitution. It is our constitution and Ambedkar’s view that has been able to hold our country together, he added.
