Farmers who commit suicide are cowards” – Agriculture Minister gives controversial statement

Kodagu, Dec. 3, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Agriculture Minister B.C. Patil has landed in controversy by saying that farmers who commit suicide are cowards.
Speaking at Ponnampet in Kodagu district he said that “Farmers who commit suicide are cowards who can’t look after their families. Only cowards will commit suicide. We should face problems and try to solve it.”
