Bengaluru, June 20, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Prime Minister is in Karnataka on a two-day visit. He will inaugurate the ‘International Day of Yoga’ program at Mysuru and several other programs in the State. Leader of opposition in the Legislative Assembly Siddaramaiah, in a tweet has asked the PM to answer his four questions by tagging the PM.
He tweeted, tagging the Prime Minister before the latter arrived at Bengaluru. The Union Government withdrew the agricultural bill yielding to the severe protests by the farmers. However, the State Govt. has still not cancelled the bill. Is that because of your instructions? Or is it the anti-farmer policy of the State Govt.?
Why is the process of giving approval for the Mekedatu project being delayed? Is it because of the pressure from Tamil Nadu? or Is it because of the prejudice of the Union Govt. against the State?
Union Home Minister is very enthusiastic to enforce Hindi on the States. Modiji, what is your view on the existence of Kannada? Does your silence show your consent to Amit Sha’s statement?
Is not the negligence of the Union Govt. a reason for the delay in implementation of the long pending demand of Bengalureans, the Bengaluru Suburban Railwy project?,” Siddaramaiah’s tweet read.
