Bengaluru, Dec. 22, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister and opposition leader Siddaramaiah have demanded the State Government to form a permanent committee under the leadership of a senior Minister, to solve the problems of promotion of SC/ST employees in government services and filling up of backlog jobs.
Office-bearers of the SC/ST Employees Association had recently consulted Siddaramaiah over the issue, following which Siddaramaiah has written a letter to Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa to provide justice to the employees.
