Mysuru, September 17, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Former Chief Minister Yediyurappa has expressed his displeasure over the eviction of temples by the State Government.
He visited the Suttur Srimath today and sought the blessings of the JSS Math seer Sri Shivarathri Deshikendra Mahaswamiji. Speaking on the occasion, he said it is not correct for the State Government to evict temples. He has asked the Chief Minister to take measures to stop the eviction. “They should have discussed before taking action. I request them not to evict the temples,” he said.
In his reply to his son Vijendra’s possibilities of contesting in the byelections, he said Vijendra would not contest. “The high command will decide from where he should contest next time. However, Vijendra will tour the state,” he informed.
