ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು, Feb.12,2025: ಸ್ವಯಂಚಾಲಿತ ಕಾರುಗಳು ಮುಂದಿನ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸಂಚಾರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿನ ಬಹುದೊಡ್ಡ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನವಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ‘ಮರ್ಸಿಡಿಸ್-ಬೆನ್ಜ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ’ದ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಮತ್ತು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಸಂತೋಷ್‌ ಅಯ್ಯರ್‌ ಬುಧವಾರ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯಪಟ್ಟರು.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅರಮನೆ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ‘ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಸಮಾವೇಶ’ದಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆದ ‘ವೇಗದ ನಗರೀಕರಣದ ವೇಳೆ ಸಂಚಾರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಭವಿಷ್ಯ’ ಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಸರಕಾರ ಕಾರುಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ 68% ತೆರಿಗೆ ವಿಧಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಆದರೆ ಆ ಹಣ ಬೇರೆಡೆ ಬಳಕೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿರುವುದು ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳು ಉಳಿಯಲು ಕಾರಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ದೇಶದ ಪ್ರತಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲೂ ಸಾರಿಗೆ-ಸಂಚಾರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿ ವಿಭಿನ್ನ ನಿಯಮಗಳು ಜಾರಿಯಲ್ಲಿರುವುದು ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆಯನ್ನು ವ್ಯಾಪಕಗೊಳಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನ ತಯಾರಕರಿಗೆ ತೊಡಕಾಗಿದೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
ರಿವರ್‌ ಮೊಬಿಲಿಟಿಯ ಸಹ-ಸಂಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಮತ್ತು ಸಿಇಒ ಅರವಿಂದ್ ಮಣಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿ, “ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ದಟ್ಟಣೆ ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವುದು ಎಷ್ಟು ಮುಖ್ಯವೋ, ಅಕ್ಕಪಕ್ಕದ ನಗರಗಳನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕಿಸುವುದೂ ಅಷ್ಟೇ ಮುಖ್ಯ. ಇದು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಆಚೆಗೂ ಕೊಂಡೊಯ್ಯಲು ನೆರವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ನಗರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಹೊಗೆಯನ್ನೂ ತಗ್ಗಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಸಹಕಾರಿಯಾಗುತ್ತದೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
ಲಕ್ಷಾಂತರ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ನೀಡಿರುವ ಸಂಚಾರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ನಾವೀನ್ಯತೆ ತರುವಾಗ ಎಚ್ಚರ ವಹಿಸಬೇಕು. ಇಲ್ಲವಾದರೆ ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆ ಹೆಸರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ಜನರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಕಸಿಯುವ ಅಪಾಯವಿರುತ್ತದೆ. ಸರಕಾರ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ರೀತಿಯ ವಾಹನಗಳ ಸಂಚಾರದ ಡೇಟಾ ಆಧರಿಸಿ ಮೊಬಿಲಿಟಿ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಸುಧಾರಣೆಗೆ ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಬೇಕು,’’ ಎಂದು ಸಿಇಇಡಬ್ಲ್ಯು ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ಕಾರ್ತಿಕ್ ಗಣೇಶನ್ ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಬೋಯಿಂಗ್‌ನ ‘ರಾಬರ್ಟ್ ಬಾಯ್ಡ್, “ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪಾಲುದಾರಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಬಯಸುತ್ತದೆ. ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್‌, ಇಂಧನ, ಹಣಕಾಸು ಮತ್ತು ಸರಕಾರಗಳು ಪಾಲುದಾರಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡಿದಾಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಈ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಕಾಣಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ. ಸುಸ್ಥಿರತೆ ಸಾಧಿಸುವಲ್ಲಿ ಬೇರೆಲ್ಲ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಕ್ಕಿಂತ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರ ಮುಂದಿದೆ,” ಎಂದರು.
ಇದೇವೇಳೆ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಬೋಯಿಂಗ್‌ ಕೇಂದ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು 6 ಸಾವಿರ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿ ಕೆಲಸ ನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ಈ ತಂಡ ವಿಶ್ವದಲ್ಲೇ ಬೋಯಿಂಗ್‌ನ ಅತ್ಯುತ್ತಮ ತಂಡವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಶ್ಲಾಘಿಸಿದರು.

Both ministers explored the Karnataka Pavilion and visited top innovators like Toyota, Embassy Group, GE Healthcare, Hero Future Energies, River Mobility, and Sarala Aviation, discovering revolutionary solutions in electric vehicles, sustainable energy, and medical advancements.
The expo also spotlighted Karnataka’s tech prowess with startups like KWIN- City, Bellatrix, and Flux Auto showcasing the state’s growing role as an innovation hub.
With a clear emphasis on sustainability and next-gen tech, the event highlighted advancements set to transform agriculture, health, and manufacturing industries, making it a must-visit for future-focused entrepreneurs and investors.
