New Delhi, February 1, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Union Government has given good news to the students by announcing ‘One Class, One TV Channel,’ in the union budget.
Finance Minister Nirmala Seetharaman is presenting the 2022-23 budget today. In her budget speech, she announced that focus is given to the educational sector as the COVID-19 Pandemic has affected the students’ education largely.
The ‘One Class, One TV’ channel which was being telecast on very few channels will be extended to 200.
The One Class, One TV Channel is commenced in order to improve the education quality of the children in rural schools. “Children have remained at home due to the pandemic. The number of channels is increased to 200 under the Prime Minister’s E-Vidya program keeping in mind the interest of the children. This will be applicable for students studying from 1st standard to 12th standards,” she added.
