ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಸೆಪ್ಟಂಬರ್,15,2020(www.justkannada.in): ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ದುಸ್ಥಿತಿಯಲ್ಲೂ ವೈದ್ಯರ ವೇತನ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಿಸಲು ಸರಕಾರ ಒಪ್ಪಿದ್ದು, ಮುಷ್ಕರ ಕೈ ಬಿಡುವಂತೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ. ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ವೈದ್ಯರಲ್ಲಿ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ವೇತನ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ಸೇರಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗಳ ಈಡೇರಿಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಮುಷ್ಕರಕ್ಕೆ ಕರೆ ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದ ವೈದ್ಯಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ಸಂಘದ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ.ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಇಂದು ಸಭೆ ನಡೆಸಿ, ಬಳಿಕ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ವೈದ್ಯರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯಾದ ವೇತನ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ಸಂಬಂಧ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಸಭೆ ಫಲಪ್ರದವಾಗಿದೆ. ವೈದ್ಯರು ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ವಸ್ತು ನಿಷ್ಠೆಯಿಂದ ಕರ್ತವ್ಯ ನಿಭಾಯಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಿಗೆ ನೈತಿಕ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿ ಕೊಡುವ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ನಿರ್ಧಾರ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಕಳೆದ ಆರು ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆಗಳಿಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳು ಒಪ್ಪಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದರಂತೆ ಈ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಯು ಈಡೇರಲಿದೆ. ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಇತಿಮಿತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ಮಾಡಲು ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತೇವೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಇಲಾಖೆಗೆ ಪೂರ್ಣ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಕೆ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ವೈದ್ಯರಿಗೆ 6 ವರ್ಷ, 13 ವರ್ಷ ಹಾಗೂ 20 ವರ್ಷ ಸೇವೆ ಆಧಾರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಮೂರು ಹಂತದ ಬಡ್ತಿ ಮತ್ತು ವೇತನ ಪರಿಷ್ಕರಣೆ ಆಗಬೇಕಿದೆ. ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪದಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಂದ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ಪಡೆಯಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಸರಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಹೊರೆ ಬೀಳಲಿದೆ. ಆದರೂ ಸಹ ವೈದ್ಯರ ಬೇಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಮನ್ನಣೆ ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಸುಧಾಕರ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Minister requests doctors to withdraw strike…
Hon’ble Minister for Medical Education Dr K. Sudhakar requested the doctors to withdraw the agitation as the government has conceded to their demand of salary hike despite the grim economic conditions.
Speaking to media persons after attending a meeting with office-bearers of the Karnataka Government Medical Officers’ Association on Tuesday, the Minister informed that was a fruitful talk, and the government has decided to give in to the demand to uplift the hardworking doctors. The doctors have been working hard day in and out, and in this light, the Chief Minister has given a nod to all the proposals by the Health Department in the past six months and this too will be fulfilled. The demand will be addressed and the Finance department has been briefed in this regard, he added.
The revision in the salaries will be made based on six-year, 13-year, and 20-year promotions for the doctors and details on the same will be obtained from the medical officers, he added. Even though this is a burden for the government to bear, it will be addressed on priority, the Minister said.
Health Minister Sriramulu, Deputy Chief Minister Dr Ashwath Narayan, and office bearers of the Karnataka Government Medical Officers’ Association were present.
