Mysuru, March 7, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar has warned doctors who are serving in government hospitals will have to face action if they prescribe private company medicines to the patients.
Speaking to the presspersons in Mysuru today, Minister Dr. K. Sudhakar expressed his view that the Janaushad is very effective in all ways. “Medicine sold at Janaushad kendras are also available at cheaper rates. But only a few people are utilizing it. We have plans to open Janaushad kendras at the village level. Every Primary Healthcare Centre will have a Janaushad kendra in the coming days,” he observed.
He also mentioned that Karnataka is in the third place in the country concerning using of Janaushad kendras. “More Janaushad kendras will be opened to ensure that our state will emerge on the top. A few people like to wear only branded clothes, such people also prefer branded medicine only,” he added.
