Bengaluru, June 22, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Responding to the suggestion of the committee led by Dr. Deviprasad Shetty to open schools and colleges in phases, Health and Medical Education Minister Dr. K.
Sudhakar has clarified that the government is not in a hurry to commence the schools and colleges.
Speaking to the media persons today in Bengaluru Dr. K. Sudhakar explained that commencing schools is a very sensitive matter and a decision regarding this should be arrived at only after enough contemplation. “We are discussing the Committee recommendations. We will arrive at a decision only after discussing every angle. The government is also having a lot of concern and focus on the health of children,” he explained.
Further, he also informed that the Dr. Deviprasad Shetty committee will also submit a report on how to control 3rd wave of the COVID-19 Pandemic and precautionary measures that have to be taken.
