Mysuru, July 23, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “The books penned by Nadoja Hampa Nagarajaiah will provide useful information for foreigners who are interested to know about Kannada language,” observed Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore.
He participated in a program on introduction of five books authored by renowned litterateur Hampa Nagarajaiah, organized by the Department of Jainology and Nature Studies, Kuvempu Research Center, in association with the Sapna Book House, held at the BMShri Auditorium in Mysuru today.
“The credit of presenting several kannada literary works to the English readers at the global level goes to Hampana. His works of educating the people about the signficance of Kannada literature comparing it with the literature of other countries is appreciable,” he said.
Nadoja Hampa Nagarajaiah, Kuvempu Research Center Director Dr. Vijayakumar S. Karikal, former VC Prof. Mallika Ghanti and others were present. Prof. Vanamala Vishwanath, Pratibha Nandakumar, Dr. Padmini Nagaraju, Dr. N.R. Lalitamba and Prof. S. Shashikala spoke about the books.
