ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಸಮರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡದೆ ಇರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಕುಂಠಿತವಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಸರಕಾರಿ ಜಾಗ ಕಬಳಿಕೆಯಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದರೂ ಅದನ್ನು ರಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ನಮ್‌ ಕೈಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ಇನ್ನು ನಾವು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಅಸಹಾಯಕತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಧಿಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿ ಆವರಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ತಾಲ್ಲೂಕು ಮಟ್ಟದ ಜನಸ್ಪಂದನ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಈ ವೇಳೆ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಿದ್ದ ನರಸಿಂಹರಾಜ ವಿಧಾನಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್‌ ಶಾಸಕ, ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ತನ್ವೀರ್‌ ಸೇಠ್ ಅವರೇ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿನ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ನಡೆ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ತೀವ್ರ ಆಕ್ಷೇಪ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಕೇವಲ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾ ಅಳವಡಿಸಿ ವಾಹನ ಸವಾರರಿಂದ ದಂಡ ವಸೂಲಿ ಮಾಡಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಬೇಡದೆ ಇರೋ ಕಡೆ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾ ಇದೆ. ಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ಕಡೆ ಕ್ಯಾಮರಾ ಇಲ್ಲ. ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಹೊರ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕಸದ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಕಸ ಹಾಕುವವರಿಗೆ ದಂಡ ಹಾಕುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಅಸಮಧಾನ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಜಾಗವನ್ನ ಬಲಾಡ್ಯರು ಕಬಳಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಜಾಗ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡುವಂತೆ ನಾನೆ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ದೂರು ಕೊಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಶಾಸಕನ ದೂರಿಗೂ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ಕ್ಯಾರೇ ಎಂದಿಲ್ಲ. ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಜಾಗ ರಕ್ಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಲಿಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾಧ್ಯವಾಗದ ನಾವು ಜನ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯರ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆ ಹೇಗೆ ಬಗೆಹರಿಸಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ ಎಂದು ಅಸಹಾಯಕತೆ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
