ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,20,2022(www.justkannada.in): ‘ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರ ದಿನೇ ದಿನೇ ವ್ಯಾಪಕವಾಗುತ್ತಿದ್ದು, ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಡದೇ ಯಾವ ಫೈಲ್ ಮೂವ್ ಆಗಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್ ಬೇಸರ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾರಿ ಭ್ರಷ್ಟಾಚಾರದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಳವಳ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಹೈಕೋರ್ಟ್, ದುಡ್ಡು ಕೊಡದೇ ಯಾವ ಫೈಲೂ ಮುಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಚಲಿಸುವುದಿಲ್ಲ ಎಂಬ ದುಃಸ್ಥಿತಿ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದಿದೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ (ಬಿಡಿಎ) ಸಹಾಯಕ ಎಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ಬಿ.ಟಿ.ರಾಜು ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದ ಜಾಮೀನು ಅರ್ಜಿ ವಿಚಾರಣೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ನ್ಯಾಯಮೂರ್ತಿ ಕೆ.ನಟರಾಜನ್ ಅವರಿದ್ದ ಏಕಸದಸ್ಯ ನ್ಯಾಯಪೀಠ ಈ ಅಭಿಪ್ರಾಯ ವ್ಯಕ್ತಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ‘ಆರೋಪಿ ರಾಜು ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಬಲವಾದ ಸಾಕ್ಷ್ಯಗಳಿರುವ ಕಾರಣ ಜಾಮೀನು ನೀಡಲು ಆಗದು’ ಎಂದು ವಜಾಗೊಳಿಸಿದೆ.
ಬಿಡಿಎ ಇಂಜಿನಿಯರ್ ರಾಜು ಅನುಕೂಲಕರ ಆದೇಶ ನೀಡಲು ವ್ಯಕ್ತಿಯೊಬ್ಬರ ಬಳಿ 1 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ ಲಂಚಕ್ಕೆ ಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಇಟ್ಟಿದ್ದರು. ಆದರೆ ಇದು 60 ಲಕ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ ಡೀಲ್ ಆಗಿ ಜೂನ್ 7 ರಂದು 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ಲಂಚ ಸ್ವೀಕರಿಸುವಾಗ ರಾಜು ರೆಡ್ ಹ್ಯಾಂಡ್ ಆಗಿ ಎಸಿಬಿ ಬಲೆಗೆ ಸಿಕ್ಕಿಬಿದ್ಧಿದ್ದರು.

HC expresses concern on existence of corruption in Govt. offices
Bengaluru, August 20, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Hon’ble High Court today expressed its dissatisfaction on the increasing amount of corruption in government offices.
No file will move without bribe, the Hon’ble court said. The Hon’ble High Court bench comprising Justice K. Natarajan, who heard the bail application of BDA Assistant Engineer B.T. Raju has expressed this opinion. The bail application of the accused was rejected due to strong evidence against him.
It was alleged that the BDA Engineer Raju had demanded a sum of Rs. 1 crore bribe to issue orders in favour of a person. However, they struck a deal for Rs. 60 lakh and he was held red handed by the ACB while receiving Rs.5 lakh as first instalment of the bribe amount on June 7.
