ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಜುಲೈ,13,2022(www.justkannada.in): ಎರಡನೇ ವರ್ಷದ ಪದವಿ ತರಗತಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎಲ್ಲ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೂ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ (ಫೈನಾನ್ಶಿಯಲ್ ಎಜುಕೇಶನ್) ಮತ್ತು ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ (ಇನ್ವೆಸ್ಟ್‌ಮೆಂಟ್ ಅವೇರ್ನೆಸ್‌) ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಕಲಿಸುವ ಸದುದ್ದೇಶವಿರುವ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಪರಿಷತ್ ಮತ್ತು ನ್ಯಾಷನಲ್ ಸ್ಟಾಕ್ ಎಕ್ಸ್‌ಚೇಂಜ್‌ ನ ಅಂಗಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಇ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್‌ (ಎನ್‌ಎಎಲ್‌) ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವು.
ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಚಿವ ಡಾ.ಸಿ.ಎನ್. ಅಶ್ವತ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಅವರ ಸಮ್ಮುಖದಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡೂ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆ ಪತ್ರವನ್ನು ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡವು. ಇದೇ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಇ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯು ರಾಜ್ಯದ 20 ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯಗಳೊಂದಿಗೂ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿತು. ಇಷ್ಟೂ ವಿ.ವಿ.ಗಳ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ರಿಜಿಸ್ಟ್ರಾರ್ ಗಳು ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದು, ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಪತ್ರಗಳನ್ನು ವಿನಿಮಯ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡರು.
ನಂತರ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಅಶ್ವಥ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್, `ಜಾಗತಿಕ ಮಟ್ಟದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಪರ್ಧಿಸಬೇಕಾಗಿರುವ ನಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಮತ್ತು ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಜಾಗೃತಿ ಎರಡನ್ನೂ ಕಲಿಕೆಯ ಭಾಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡುವುದು ಅತ್ಯಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ರಾಜ್ಯದ 5 ಲಕ್ಷ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ವರ್ಷದಲ್ಲಿ ಲಾಭವಾಗಲಿದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ, ಇದು ಉದ್ಯಮಶೀಲತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಚಟುವಟಿಕೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಯುವಜನರು ತಮ್ಮನ್ನು ತೊಡಗಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸರಿಯಾದ ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ಸಿಗಲಿದೆ’ ಎಂದರು.
ಈ ಕೋರ್ಸ್ ಅನ್ನು ಎಲ್ಲ ಪದವಿ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳೂ ತಮ್ಮ ಪಠ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಭಾಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕಾದ್ದು ಕಡ್ಡಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಎಲ್ಲ ಕಾಲೇಜುಗಳಿಗೂ ತಿಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮೂಲಕ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉಳಿತಾಯ, ಹೂಡಿಕೆ, ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆ, ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಿಕೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ಅವಕಾಶಗಳು ಇತ್ಯಾದಿಗಳ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಸಮಗ್ರ ಅರಿವು ಮೂಡಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಒಡಂಬಡಿಕೆಯ ಭಾಗವಾಗಿ ಎನ್.ಎಸ್.ಇ ಅಕಾಡೆಮಿಯು ಉಪನ್ಯಾಸಕರಿಗೆ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೊಡಲು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ `ಟ್ರೈನ್ ದಿ ಟ್ರೈನರ್’ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡು, ಅಗತ್ಯ ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲಿಸಿಕೊಡಲಿದೆ. ಬಳಿಕ, ಬೋಧಕ ವೃಂದದವರು ಇದನ್ನು ತಮ್ಮ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ನುಡಿದರು.
ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಯುವಜನರನ್ನು ಉದ್ಯೋಗದಾತರನ್ನಾಗಿ, ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾರ್ಹರನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯ ಭಾಗವನ್ನಾಗಿ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂಬುದು ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಹಂಬಲವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಡಿ ಹಲವು ಉಪಯುಕ್ತ ಉಪಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ಜಾರಿಗೆ ತರಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜತೆಗೆ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದಲೂ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಮೇಳ, ಕೌಶಲ್ಯ ಕಲಿಕೆಗಳಂತಹ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಪದವೀಧರರಾಗಿ ಯಾರೊಬ್ಬರೂ ನಿರುದ್ಯೋಗಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಉಳಿಯಬಾರದು ಎನ್ನುವ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯ ಸಬಲೀಕರಣ ನಮ್ಮದಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅಶ್ವತ್ ನಾರಾಯಣ್ ಪ್ರತಿಪಾದಿಸಿದರು.

Karnataka Government inks MOU with NAL to introduce Financial Education and Investment Awareness Course
Bengaluru: The Government of Karanataka inked a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with National Stock Exchange Academy Limited (NAL), on Tuesday, to provide asecond-year Financial Education and Investment Awareness Course for the college students of Karnataka.
The Karnataka State Higher Education Council (KSHEC) and NSE Academy Limited (NAL) signed and exchanged MoU in presence of Dr.C.N.Ashwath Narayan, Minister for Higher Education.
Speaking on the occasion, Minister Narayan said, “The Financial Education and Investment Awareness Course which would be introduced from second-year degree is likely to empower the students irrespective of streams they opt, with sound financial knowledge and financial management skills. The universities are expected to integrate the course into their curriculum. The course will benefit around 5 lakh students annually, beginning from the ongoing academic year itself”.
He stated that the course aims at developing the spirit of savings & investing, financial acumen, and knowledge of investment avenues among students. Further, he added, “NSE Academy will impart the necessary skills required for facilitating learning to the college teachers, through state-wide ‘Train the Trainer’ programs”.
After the signing of MOU, NSE Academy also signed MOAs with 20 state universities of Karnataka. Vice-Chancellors and Registrars from the Universities of Karnataka exchanged the MOAs.
Dr.Tirthankar Patnaik (Chief Economist, NSE India Ltd.), Mr. Abhilash Misra (Chief Executive Officer, NSE Academy Ltd.), and Mr. Ranganathan S (Chief Manager, NSE Academy Ltd.) represented NSE Academy. Prof. B. Thimme Gowda (Vice Chairman, KSHEC) and Dr. Gopalakrishna Joshi (Executive Director, KSHEC) represented KSHEC.
