Mysuru, August 26, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Home Minister of Karnataka Araga Jnanendra will visit Mysuru today. He will conduct a meeting with the police officials tomorrow to discuss the incident of gang rape that took place two days ago at the foothills of Chamundi.
Speaking in Bengaluru today, he informed that an FIR is registered already, and the police are searching for evidence and trap the culprits. “We have considered this case very seriously. I am visiting Mysuru today evening. I will conduct a meeting with the police officials there tomorrow,” he said.
He also informed that the victim of the gang rape is hospitalized and treated. “All efforts are made to crack the case. Senior Police officer Pratap Reddy is in Mysuru. Separate teams are formed to trace the culprits. They will be caught at any cost. However, there is no much information,” he added.
