Bengaluru, July 23, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Following incessant rains in the Krishna river basin, the inflow of water has increased. As a result of this, Chief Minister B.S. Yediyurappa has instructed the officials concerned to take precautionary measures.
The State is witnessing good rainfall, and a flood situation has appeared at almost all the river basins. The inflow of water in the Krishna river basin is high, as a result of which the Chief Minister called the Deputy Commissioner of Belagavi and spoke to him.
Instructions have been given to the district administration to be alert, and they have been asked to inform whether any help is necessary. The Chief Minister is said to have spoken with the Deputy Commissioners of several other districts where a similar situation has appeared.
