Hurdles to screen ‘James’ movie settled: Show will be in 275 theaters tomorrow

Bengaluru, March 24, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Actor Shivarajkumar has pulled the curtains down over the controversy of filming Puneeth Rajkumar’s last movie ‘James’, making way for celebrated film director of the country Rajamouli’s RRR.
Actor Shivarajkumar met Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai today to discuss the issue. Later he visited the film chamber and settled the matter after discussions. Accordingly, the movie ‘James,’ which was being screened in 386 cinema halls across the state, will continue in 275 cinema halls. However, the screening of ‘James’ in 111 theatres will end.
Addressing a press meet in Bengaluru, after discussing with the film chamber, actor Shivarajukumar said, “cinema hall problem is common. Sometimes the problem will be settled through dialogue and sometimes through agreement. I don’t know what discussion or agreement was there between the distributor and the exhibitors. But I stand by all. The Chief Minister has also spoken and responded regarding this. I thank him for it.”
“Appu’s movie release is a very emotional thing for all of us. The Hon’ble Chief Minister has responded regarding ‘James’. Let us not find fault in it now. All problems are solved. I won’t say the problem is solved under my leadership, it is a collective effort of all,” he added.
