Bengaluru, November 15, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “The meeting held under the leadership of BJP leader Amit Shah at Tirupati has been successful, and I have strongly proposed the issues going on in the State,” informed Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.
Speaking at Bengaluru today, Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai informed discussion on the joining of Godavari and Krishna rivers was held. “Apart from that, the issue over water sharing was also discussed. A few instructions have been given to the Ministry of Water Resources regarding our grievance,” he added.
“I also raised the Mekedatu project. However, the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister didn’t attend the meeting, and hence it was not discussed. Our government has considered the Mekedatu issue very seriously. We will take all necessary measures to start the project as soon as possible,” he said.
Replying to the question on the ongoing Bitcoin issue, the Chief Minister expressed his view that the Congress leaders are just trying to keep the issue alive. “Let them provide the documents if they are in possession to the Enforcement Directorate or the Police. I have told this to them several times. There is nothing special in this case,” he informed.
