Mysuru, Jan. 25, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “Keeping in mind the financial condition of the State, the State Government will decide on the overall development of Mysuru in this budget. We will prepare a list of what is required?, for the development of the cultural capital, with the elected representatives,” opined Mysuru District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar.
He inaugurated the Sandalwood Museum in Mysuru today. In his address to the press persons after the inaugural function, the Minister explained that Mysuru and Kodagu District MP Pratap Simha, MLAs S.A. Ramadas, and L. Nagendra has prepared a list of essentials for the development of Mysuru. “We will discuss everything in detail and bring it to the notice of the Hon’ble Chief Minister. Due to the Covid pandemic, we have to observe the financial condition of the government and then decide,” he said.
In his reply to the farmers’ rally in Bengaluru on Republic Day, he said that the government was not against it and expressed his displeasure that it would cause trouble to the people and requested the farmers to cooperate.
