Goa, Jan. 30, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): After Maharashtra border row, it is now the turn of Goa. Regarding the Mahadayi issue, Goa Chief Minister Pramod Sawant has said that he won’t compromise based on his party opinion.
Speaking in the assembly, the Goa Chief Minister said, “Mahadayi River is the lifeline of Goa, and it is like my mother. BJP is in power at the center, Karnataka, and also in Goa. But I look at Mahadayi by keeping aside the party. I won’t compromise at any cost listening to my party opinion.”
He also said that he won’t budge to any pressure, either by the party or by any other person.
