Bengaluru, Mar. 16, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “We are about to witness the second wave of COVID-19 Pandemic. If people forget to follow the guidelines, implementing stringent rules may become inevitable,” warned Medical Education Minister Dr. K. Sudhkar.
Speaking to the media persons today he explained the number of Corona cases in both the states Karnataka and Maharashtra are increasing constantly. “The Chief Minister has given a clear message to the people of the State. They are asked to wear masks compulsorily and follow the earlier guidelines. Otherwise, implementation of stringent rules will become inevitable,” he added.
He also informed that there is a video conference with Prime Minister Narendra Modi tomorrow, following which all the places of public gathering like cinema halls, protests, etc., will be monitored closely. We are expecting a few instructions at the video conference. The Chief Minister will decide that. We have to wait and see whether tough rules will be implemented again, he said.
