ಮೇಲ್ಮನೆಯ ಸಭಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಬಸವರಾಜ್ ಹೊರಟ್ಟಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಧಾನಸಭೆಯ ಸ್ಪೀಕರ್ ವಿಶ್ವೇಶ್ವರ ಹೆಗಡೆ ಕಾಗೇರಿ ಅವರು ವಿಧಾನ ಸೌಧದ ಮುಂದೆ ನಾಳೆ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ೯.೦೦ ಗಂಟೆಗೆ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರಧ್ವಜವನ್ನು ಹಾರಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬಳಿಕ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿ ಬಸವರಾಜ್ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಅವರು ವಿಧಾನ ಸೌಧದ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ವೆಟ್ ಹಾಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ ೧೦.೩೦ಕ್ಕೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿರುವ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅದಾದ ನಂತರ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷೀಯ ಭಾಷಣ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಾಂಸ್ಕೃತಿಕ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಿರುತ್ತವೆ.

In the first-of-its kind, both the houses of the state legislature – Karnataka Legislative Assembly & Karnataka Legislative Council – will jointly celebrate the Independence Day on Sunday, 15th August 2021. Hon’ble Chairman of the Upper House, Sri Basavaraj Horatti and Hon’ble Speaker of the Lower House Sri Vishweshwar Hegde Kageri will hoist the National Flag at the Grand Steps of Vidhana Soudha at 9 AM. Hon’ble Chief Minister Sri Basavaraj Bommai will take part in the celebrations in Banquet Hall at 10.30 AM. Immediately, thereafter, both the Presiding Officers will deliver their addresses and participate in the cultural programme at Banquet Hall, Vidhana Soudha.
