ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಫೆಬ್ರವರಿ,14,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ವಿದ್ಯುತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಹೈಡ್ರೋಜನ್ ಚಾಲಿತ ವಾಹನ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ವಲಯಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂದಿನ 5 ವರ್ಷಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 50 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಆಕರ್ಷಿಸಿ, 1 ಲಕ್ಷ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮುಂದಿನ ಐದು ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಅವಧಿಯ ಪರಿಸರಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಸಾರಿಗೆ ನೀತಿಯನ್ನು ಇಂಧನ ಸಚಿವ ಕೆ ಜೆ ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರರ ಸಮಾವೇಶದ ಸಮಾರೋಪ ಸಮಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು.
ನೀತಿಯ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿದ ಬೃಹತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ. ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, ಇದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಗೌರಿಬಿದನೂರು, ಧಾರವಾಡ ಮ್ತತು ಹಾರೋಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪರಿಸರಸ್ನೇಹಿ ಇಂಧನ ಕ್ಲಸ್ಟರ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ದೇಶದ ಇ.ವಿ.ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜ್ಯವು 3ನೇ ಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿದ್ದು, ನಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ 2.50 ಲಕ್ಷ ಇ.ವಿ.ಚಾಲಿತ ವಾಹನಗಳಿವೆ. ಬ್ಯಾಟರಿ ಪ್ಯಾಕ್, ಕೋಶಗಳ ತಯಾರಿಕೆ, ಬಿಡಿಭಾಗಗಳ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ, ಒಇಎಂ, ಚಾರ್ಜಿಂಗ್, ಪರೀಕ್ಷಾರ್ಥ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಆರ್ & ಡಿ ಇವುಗಳಿಗೆ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ 25 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಬಂದಿದೆ. ಹೊಸ ನೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚಾರ್ಜಿಂಗ್ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹೈಡ್ರೋಜನ್ ಕೇಂದ್ರಗಳ ಜಾಲದ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಒತ್ತು ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಈಗ ಓಡಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ, ತ್ರಿಚಕ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ನಾಲ್ಕು ಚಕ್ರಗಳ ವಾಹನಗಳ ರೆಟ್ರೋ-ಫಿಟ್ಟಿಂಗ್ ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬಿಎಂಟಿಸಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಹೊರಗೆ ಕಡಿಮೆ ದೂರದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಸೇವೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಇ.ವಿ. ಬಸ್ ಸೇವೆಗಳನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ಜತೆಗೆ ಇ-ಕಾಮರ್ಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ವಿತರಣಾ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ತಮ್ಮ ದ್ವಿಚಕ್ರ ಮತ್ತು ತ್ರಿಚಕ್ರ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು 2030ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಇ.ವಿ/ಹೈಡ್ರೋಜನ್ ಚಾಲಿತವಾಗಿ ಬದಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಒತ್ತು ಕೊಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ ನಗರಪಾಲಿಕೆ, ಪುರಸಭೆ, ಪಟ್ಟಣ ಪಂಚಾಯಿತಿಗಳು ಘನತ್ಯಾಜ್ಯ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ಇರುವ ವಾಹನಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ರೂಪಾಂತರಿಸಿ ಕೊಳ್ಳುವಂತೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕಂಪನಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಲಾವಾಹನಗಳಿಗೂ ಇದನ್ನು ಅನ್ವಯಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Minister KJ George Launches Karnataka’s New Clean Mobility Policy 2025-30 with Focus on Electric and Hydrogen Vehicles
Bengaluru: Minister for Energy, KJ George, on Friday unveiled Karnataka’s ambitious Clean Mobility Policy for the period 2025-30, aiming to position the state as a national leader in the Electric Vehicle (EV) and hydrogen vehicle manufacturing sectors.
Highlighting about the policy at the GIM Invest Karnataka 25, he said that the policy outlines significant investments and initiatives to transform Karnataka into a hub for clean mobility.
Large and Medium Industries Minister Patil revealed that the policy will attract investments totalling Rs 50,000 crore in the next five years, generating approximately 1 lakh jobs. The state has already secured Rs 25,000 crore in investments for the entire EV value chain, including battery pack manufacturing, cell production, OEMs, charging infrastructure, and research & development. An additional Rs 15,000 crore is expected to be invested by August 31.
With around 2.5 lakh EVs already registered in Karnataka, the state ranks third in the country in terms of the number of electric vehicles. This policy aims to build on this success by further promoting the adoption of EVs and hydrogen-powered vehicles.
“The core of the new policy revolves around developing robust infrastructure for clean mobility, with an emphasis on charging stations, hydrogen hubs, and retrofitting existing vehicles to electric or hydrogen-powered alternatives” minister noted.
Key initiatives include the establishment of clean energy clusters in Gowribidanuru, Dharwad, and Harohalli, which will serve as centers of innovation, manufacturing, and research in the clean mobility sector.
To foster the growth of clean mobility vehicles, the Policy outlines five strategic measures of Incentives and concessions, Development of clean mobility clusters, Charging infrastructure and hydrogen stations, Support for common infrastructure and testing facilities, and Research, innovation, and skill development.
The new policy includes measures to promote the use of clean vehicles in both public and private sectors and offers substantial incentives for both MSMEs and large-scale projects within the clean mobility sector, Patil highlighted.
