ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,2,2023(www.justkannada.in): ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಬರೋಬ್ಬರಿ 5000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಮೊತ್ತದ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡುವ ಸಂಬಂಧ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ಕಾನ್ ಸಹಿ ಮಾಡಿದೆ. ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳಿಂದ 13,000 ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಲಿವೆ.
ಚೆನ್ನೈನ ಹೋಟೆಲ್ ಲೀಲಾ ಪ್ಯಾಲೇಸ್‌ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸೋಮವಾರ ನಡೆದ ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಫೋನ್ ಎನ್ಕ್ಲೋಸರ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಘಟಕ ಸ್ಥಾಪನೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಸೆಮಿಕಾನ್ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಾತುಕತೆ ನಡೆಸಿದ ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ಕಾನ್ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಯಂಗ್ ಲಿಯು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಪತ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಹಿ ಹಾಕಿದರು.
ಈ ವಿಷಯವನ್ನು ಬೃಹತ್ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕೆ, ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ.ಪಾಟೀಲ ಬುಧವಾರ ಅಧಿಕೃತವಾಗಿ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾ ಹೇಳಿಕೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಚೆನ್ನೈನಲ್ಲಿ ತಮ್ಮ ಜತೆಗೆ ಐಟಿ ಬಿಟಿ, ಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕ್ ಖರ್ಗೆ, ಎಲೆಕ್ಟ್ರಾನಿಕ್ಸ್, ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ, ಜೈವಿಕ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಅಪರ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಡಾ.ಇ.ವಿ.ರಮಣ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಆಯುಕ್ತರಾದ ಗುಂಜನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ಈ ಎರಡೂ ಒಪ್ಪಂದಗಳು, ಈ ಮೊದಲು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದ 14 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ಮೊತ್ತದ ಆ್ಯಪಲ್ ಫೋನ್ ತಯಾರಿಕಾ ಘಟಕ ಹೊರತಾದವು. ಇದಕ್ಕೂ ದೊಡ್ಡಬಳ್ಳಾಪುರ ಸಮೀಪ ಭೂಮಿ ನೀಡುವ ಕೆಲಸ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ. ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
“ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ಕಾನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ನಡುವಿನ ಈ ಒಪ್ಪಂದವು ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪ್ರಗತಿ ಮತ್ತು ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ- ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಬೆಳವಣಿಗೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗಮನಾರ್ಹ ಬದಲಾವಣೆ ತರಲಿದೆ. ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾವಿರಾರು ನುರಿತ ಕೆಲಸಗಾರರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ದೊರೆಯುತ್ತದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಹೂಡಲಿರುವ ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ ಕಾನ್ ಗೆ ಎಲ್ಲ ರೀತಿಯ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಒದಗಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬದ್ಧ” ಎಂದರು.
“ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಮತ್ತು ಆವಿಷ್ಕಾರ ವಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕವು ಮುಂಚೂಣಿಯಲ್ಲಿದೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ ಕಾನ್ ಮುಂದೆ ಬಂದಿರುವುದು ಸಂತೋಷದ ವಿಷಯ. ಬಂಡವಾಳ ಆಕರ್ಷಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಕಂಪನಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಉತ್ತಮ ಪರಿಸರ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ನಮ್ಮ ನೀತಿಗಳು ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿವೆ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
“ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಜತೆ ಯೋಜಿತ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಒಪ್ಪಂದ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ನಮ್ಮ ಹೈಟೆಕ್ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ತಾಣವಾಗಿದೆ. ಉದ್ಯಮಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾದ ವಾತಾವರಣವಿದ್ದು, ನುರಿತ ಕೆಲಸಗಾರರ ಲಭ್ಯತೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿಶೇಷ. ಈ 2 ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೊಸ ಅಧ್ಯಾಯ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಿದ್ದೇವೆ” ಎಂದು ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ ಕಾನ್ ನ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಯಂಗ್ ಲಿಯು ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಪ್ರಮುಖ ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ವಿವರ:
- ಫೋನ್ ಎನ್ಕ್ಲೋಸರ್- FII: ಐಫೋನ್‌ ಗಳ ಮೆಕ್ಯಾನಿಕಲ್ ಎನ್‌ ಕ್ಲೋಸರ್‌ ನಂತಹ ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್‌ಫೋನ್‌ ನ ಉಪ ಘಟಕಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಾದ ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ ಕಾನ್ ಇಂಡಸ್ಟ್ರಿಯಲ್ ಇಂಟರ್ ನೆಟ್ (FII)ನ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮೊತ್ತ 350 ದಶಲಕ್ಷ ಡಾಲರ್ (3,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.) ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ 12,000 ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ದೊರೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟಕ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಎಫ್‌ಐಐ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿದೆ.
- ಸೆಮಿಕಾನ್ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳು- ಅಪ್ಲೈಡ್‌ ಮೆಟೀರಿಯಲ್ಸ್‌ ಸಹಯೋಗದಲ್ಲಿ ಸೆಮಿಕಂಡಕ್ಟರ್ ಉತ್ಪಾದನಾ ಉಪಕರಣಗಳ ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯ ಯೋಜಿತ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮೊತ್ತ 250 ದಶಲಕ್ಷ ಡಾಲರ್( 2,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ.). ಇದರಿಂದ 1000 ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ದೊರೆಯಲಿದೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಗ್ರಾಮಾಂತರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಹೈಟೆಕ್ ಏರೋಸ್ಪೇಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಡಿಫೆನ್ಸ್ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ – 2 ನೇ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಗಾಗಿ 35 ಎಕರೆ ಭೂಮಿಯನ್ನು ಅಂತಿಮಗೊಳಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.

Karnataka Government-Foxconn sign Letter of Intent (LOI) for two more projects: Minister MB Patil
Bengaluru: Large and Medium Industries Minister MB Patil said on Wednesday that the Karnataka government and iPhone maker Foxconn have signed the Letter of Intent (LOI) for two projects with an estimated investment outlay of Rs. 5,000 cr. generating 13,000 jobs. These projects are in addition to the iPhone end assembly plant which the Taiwanese company has planned to set up at Devanahalli ITIR with an investment of about Rs.14,000 crore
Giving out details about the signing formalities that took place at a private hotel in Chennai on Monday he stated that Foxconn Chairman Young Liu and State IT/BT minister Priyanka Kharge were present on the occasion.
According to Patil, the intended projects include a Phone enclosure project for which FII (Foxcon Industrialist Internet), a Foxconn’s Subsidiary, invests (Rs 3,000 Cr) ($ 350 Mn) that is estimated to create 12,000 employments. The other project is the Semicon equipment project wherein Foxconn would invest Rs 2,000 Cr ($ 250 Mn) to take up a project in collaboration with Applied Materials that is likely to generate
1000 jobs, he added.
The Letter of Intent (LoI) outlines the framework for the proposed two projects that Foxconn plans to establish in the state.
The phone Enclosure unit will engage in
manufacturing subassembly components for smartphones, specifically mechanical enclosures of iPhones. About this FII is currently evaluating suitable land parcels in and around Bengaluru.
It is noted here that the FII leadership team had met and held discussions with Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, Ministers MB Patil and Priyanka Kharge a few weeks ago at Bengaluru regarding the above project. Followed by the discussion, the company team was taken to Japan Industrial Township in Tumakuru on the same day where the available 100-acre parcel of land was shown.
Company’s Semicon Equipment Manufacturing project
in collaboration with Applied Materials is to establish a production unit for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. The location for this project is likely to be finalised at the Haraluru Muddenahalli – Hi-Tech Aerospace and Defence Park-Phase II in Bengaluru Rural district, where Foxconn has sought a 35-acre plot.
Young Liu was in India to attend SemiconIndia 2023 in Gandhinagar of Gujarat, and subsequently visited Chennai on Monday.
Dr E.V. Ramana Reddy, Additional Chief Secretary to the Department of Electronics Information Technology Biotechnology and Science & Technology and Ms Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner for Industrial Development, Department of Industries & Commerce, Government of Karnataka were present.
