Bengaluru, Dec. 24, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): “The night curfew is imposed to restrict unnecessary roaming and doing parties. But the opposition and a few people say whatever does is wrong. They say that they will cooperate to control Corona. But they never cooperated with us,” said Health and Medical Education Minister Sudhakar.
Speaking in Bengaluru today, Minister Sudhakar defended the State Government’s decision to impose a night curfew. “We were suggested to impose a curfew from 8 pm. Spreading of Corona can be prevented to a great extent by closing bars and restaurants through the night curfew. Hence, we have imposed it to restrict unnecessary roaming and partying. It is a decision taken by the Chief Minister with thinking a lot,” he added. He also clarified, “even businessmen and traders had also requested to keep in mind that their livelihood is not disturbed.”
