Bengaluru, July 28, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai informed that the Janotsav convention scheduled to be held today has been cancelled following the murder of BJP activist Praveen Nettaru.
He addressed a press meet today in Bengaluru on the occasion of completion of one year as the Chief Minister of Karnataka. “The State BJP government has completed three years. We have cancelled the Janotsav convention, after discussing with all the leaders. It is our duty to inform our achievements to the people. There are efficient performers in our cabinet. Also there are good ministers who are service-minded. Former CM B.S. Yediyurappa handled the COVID-19 Pandemic situation in the State efficiently for two years. I extend my gratitude to all those who cooperated with me in completing one year in the office as CM and also thank the BJP leaders at the national level for giving me an opportunity to serve in the highest office in the State,” he said.
