Mysuru, June 1, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): “The JDS party is the ‘B’ team of BJP. It doesn’t have the strength to win the Rajya Sabha elections,” said KPCC spokesperson M. Lakshmana.
Addressing a press meet in Mysuru today, he informed that JDS has only 32 votes. “Though they have no strength of numbers they have fielded the candidate. The JDS has fielded its candidate to defeat the Congress party candidate who belongs to the minority community. This way the JDS has proven itself as anti-minority. If JDS was concerned about the minorities, they should have given the ticket to C.M. Ibrahim instead of Kupendra Reddy. Devegowda became a Rajya Sabha member due to the contribution of Congress. Hence, the JDS should immediately withdraw their candidate and give an opportunity to the minority community candidate Mansoor Ali Khan. Even otherwise, the Congress candidate is sure to win,” he added.
