Mysuru, Apr. 5, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Minister S.T. Somashekar has defended Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa over the issue of the letter written to the high command by Minister K.S. Eshwarappa.
Speaking to the presspersons in Mysuru today Minister S.T. Somashekar said if ministers won’t respond properly to the MLAs, Chief Minister will intervene. It is a CMs supreme power.
“If ministers respond immediately nobody will complain to the CM. They will complain to the CM when the ministers won’t respond immediately. I am the Minister for Cooperation. It is my duty to respond to my sub-ordinates and MLAs. The CM will intervene if I won’t respond properly. It is not only Eswharappa’s case, it happens in all such Ministers’ cases. Whichever Minister it may be, they should work. Is it not their duty. That is why they have been made a Minister. If they won’t respond the CM will have to intervene, I don’t see any fault in it,” he said.
Further on the occasion he also clarified that the accusations on Chief Minister’s son Vijendra is false. Vijendra is just the Vice-President of BJP. He has never intervened in any of the issues concerned to Mysuru.
