ಕಲ್ಬುರ್ಗಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂದು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸಿ.ಪಿ ಯೋಗೇಶ್ವರ್, ಕೊರೋನಾ ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿ ಬಿಡುಗಡೆ ಮಾಡಿದಂತೆ ನಮ್ಮ ವರಿಷ್ಠರು ಮಾರ್ಗಸೂಚಿ ನೀಡುವ ಆಶಾಭಾವನೆ ಇದೆ. ನನ್ನ ಭಾವನೆಗಳನ್ನೆಲ್ಲಾ ಹೈಕಮಾಂಡ್ ಮುಂದಿಟ್ಟಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಏನು ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಆಗುತ್ತೆ ಕಾದು ನೋಡೋಣ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಡಿಕೆಶಿಗೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಗಲ್ಲ.
ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನಲ್ಲಿ ಸಿಎಂ ಅಭ್ಯರ್ಥಿಗೆ ಪೈಪೋಟಿ ವಿಚಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ಪ್ರತಿಕ್ರಿಯಿಸಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಸಿ.ಪಿ ಯೋಗೇಶ್ವರ್, ಸಿದ್ಧರಾಮಯ್ಯ ಡಿ.ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಗೆ ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗುವ ಅವಕಾಶ ಸಿಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ. ಪಾಪ ಡಿ.ಕೆ ಶಿವಕುಮಾರ್ ಬಹಳಷ್ಟು ಕನಸು ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಡಿಕೆಶಿಗೆ ಶಾಸಕರ ಬೆಂಬಲ ಇದ್ದಂತೆ ಕಾಣುತ್ತಿಲ್ಲ. ದಲಿತ ಸಿಎಂ ಆಗಬೇಕೆಂದು ಪ್ರಯತ್ನ ಆಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. 70 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಕಾಲ ದಲಿತ ಸಮುದಾಯ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ಪರ ಇತ್ತು. ಅವರಿಗೆ ಅನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂಬ ಧ್ವನಿ ಪ್ರಾರಂಭವಾಗಿದೆ. ಎರಡು ವರ್ಷ ಏನಾಗುತ್ತೆ ಕಾದು ನೋಡೋಣ ಎಂದು ಹೇಳಿದರು.

Kalaburagi, June 29, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “All the discussions and arguments are over in the party. We are expecting judgment,” opined Tourism Minister C.P. Yogeshwar.
Speaking to the media persons in Kalaburagi today, the Minister informed that like Corona guidelines, the party leaders also are expecting guidelines from the high command. “I have revealed all my feelings before the High Command and am waiting for the judgment.”
Replying to the question about CM candidate going on in State Congress party, he said that neither D.K. Shivakumar nor Siddaramaiah can become Chief Minister. “D.K. Shivakumar has a lot of dreams. However, I don’t think he has enough support from the MLAs. I see that in the Congress party, the demand for a Dalit as a CM is more. The Dalit community was with the Congress party for several decades. A voice of injustice has started. However, let us wait what will happen and see for the next two years,” he added.
