Bengaluru, July 02, 20w1 (www.justkannada.in): Following media reports of the alleged suicide in Goa by three members of the same family hailing from Karnataka, former Chief Minister H.D. Kumaraswamy has written a letter to the Goa Chief Minister demanding to conduct an investigation.
The tweet by the former Chief Minister of Karnataka read as follows: “According to media reports, the family members who were staying in Goa have committed suicide unable to face the insult. It shows how Kannadigas in Goa are staying in a dangerous condition.
“In the death note which has been recovered by the police, the deceased members have mentioned that they were harassed by Goa police and were in deep pain. If really the family members were guilty and have committed any crime why would have they committed suicide, they would have never taken such a decision. This incident shows clearly that the family has been harassed only because they are Kannadigas,” the tweet read.
Further, the tweet read that the behavior of the police is suspicious even after the incident. They have prepared the Panchanama in a hurry as alleged by several local Pro-Kannada organizations. Hence, I demand Dr. Pramod P Sawant consider this case seriously and demand an investigation.
H.D. Kumaraswamy also has mentioned that he has also demanded the Chief Minister of Karnataka and also write to the HMO India regarding this case.
