ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು. ಜನವರಿ, 26,2023(www.justkannada.in): ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ವಸತಿ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಸಂಘದ( ಕ್ರೈಸ್ ) 830 ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖಾ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯ 326 ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ಸೇರಿದಂತೆ ಒಟ್ಟು 1156 ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವ್ಯಾಸಂಗ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ದೃಷ್ಠಿಕೋನ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಮೂಡಿಸಲು, ಮತ್ತು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಿ, ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲೇ ಪ್ರಪ್ರಥಮ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು(Science Exhibition) ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಅರಮನೆ ಮೈದಾನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ತ್ರಿಪುರವಾಸಿನಿ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದಲ್ಲಿ ದಿ: 27.01.2023 & 28.01.2023 ರಂದು ಆಯೋಜಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಯಾಗಿ ನಡೆಸಲು ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸಕಲ ಸಿದ್ದತೆಗಳನ್ನು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಮಾಜ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಮೇಜರ್‌ ಪಿ. ಮಣಿವಣ್ಣನ್‌ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 
ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯಮಟ್ಟದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಸಿಎಂ ಬಸವರಾಜ ಬೊಮ್ಮಾಯಿ ಅವರು ಜನವರಿ 27 ರಂದು ಬೆಳಿಗ್ಗೆ 9.30 ಕ್ಕೆ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಪಡಿಸುವ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಸುಪ್ತಚೇತನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮನೋಭವಾವನೆ, ಪ್ರತಿಭೆಯನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಚಿವರುಗಳು, ಶಾಸಕರುಗಳು, ಸಂಸದರು ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರೆ ಗಣ್ಯರು ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಎರಡು ದಿನಗಳ ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ, ಗಣಿತ, ಮಾಹಿತಿ ತಂತ್ರಜ್ಞಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಇನ್ನಿತರೆ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ನಾವಿನ್ಯಯುತ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಕ್ರೈಸ್ ಮತ್ತು ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ಕಲ್ಯಾಣ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಹಿಸುತ್ತಿರುವ ಶಾಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ತಮವಾದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ರೂಪಿಸಿದ ಶಾಲೆಗಳನ್ನು ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ತಂಡದ ಮೂಲಕ ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಆಯ್ಕೆಗೊಂಡ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು ರಾಜ್ಯಮಟ್ಟದ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿವೆ.
ರಾಜ್ಯದ ವಿವಿಧ ಭಾಗಗಳಿಂದ ಆಯ್ಕೆಯಾಗಿರುವ 200 ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಅವರಲ್ಲಿ 92ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಯ ವಸತಿಶಾಲೆಗಳು, 45 ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಪಂಗಡದ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳು, 36 ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆ ಹಾಗು 27 ಅಲ್ಪಸಂಖ್ಯಾತರ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಇಲಾಖೆ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಸಾರಿಗೆ, ಊಟ –ವಸತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಿ, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲು ಪೂರ್ವಸಿದ್ದತೆ ಕೈಗೊಂಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆಯು ಸಹ ಈ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸಲಿದ್ದು, ಆಕರ್ಷಕ ಶಸ್ತ್ರಾಸ್ತ್ರಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಹಮ್ಮಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಹಿರಿಯ ಸೇನಾಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸೇನೆಯ ಕುರಿತು ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮಾದರಿಗಳೊಂದಿಗೆ, ಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಟಿತ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಾದ ISRO, IISc, Agasthya Foundation, Bharatha Jnana Vignana samiti, Nehru planetarium, Vishveshvaraiah Museum etc ಇವರಿಂದ ಸಹ ಮಕ್ಕಳು ಹಾಗೂ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಜ್ಞಾನಾರ್ಜನೆಗೆ ಪೂರಕವಾದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನದ ಪ್ರಯೋಗಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನ/ಪ್ರಾತ್ಯಕ್ಷಿಕೆ ಯನ್ನು ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ISRO ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿನ ರಾಕೇಟ್ ಗಳ ಮಾದರಿ, ಹೆಚ್ಎಎಲ್ ನಿಂದ ವಿಮಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಹೆಲಿಕಾಪ್ಟರ್ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು. ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಂಟೇಜ್ ಕಾರುಗಳ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶನವನ್ನು ಸಹ ಏರ್ಪಡಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಲು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ನಗರ ಹಾಗೂ ಸುತ್ತಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು, ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು, ವಿಜ್ಞಾನಾಸಕ್ತರು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಭಾಗವಹಿಸುವ ನಿರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಇದೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮಟ್ಟದ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳಕ್ಕೆ ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರಿಗೆ ಉಚಿತ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ಅವಕಾಶವನ್ನು ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಮೇಳಕ್ಕೆ ಎರಡೂ ದಿನಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಪೋಷಕರು ಸ್ವಯಂ ಪ್ರೇರಿತವಾಗಿ ಕರೆದುಕೊಂಡು ಬಂದು ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮಾದರಿಗಳನ್ನು ವೀಕ್ಷಿಸಿ, ಮಕ್ಕಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರೋತ್ಸಾಹಿಸುವುದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಕ್ಕಳ ಸುಪ್ತ ಚೇತನದಲ್ಲಿರುವ ಅನ್ವೇಷಣೆ, ಸಂಶೋಧನಾ ಹಾಗೂ ವೈಜ್ಞಾನಿಕ ಮನೋಭಾವವು ಹೊರಹೊಮ್ಮಲು ಉತ್ತೇಜನ ನೀಡಿ, ಈ ವಿಜ್ಞಾನ ಮೇಳವನ್ನು ಯಶಸ್ವಿಗೊಳಿಸಬೇಕು ಎಂದು ಪಿ. ಮಣಿವಣ್ಣನ್‌ ಅವರು ಕೋರಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Bangalore. Jan. 26: The Government of Karnataka under the aegis of Karnataka Residential Educational Institutions Society (KREIS) and Minority Welfare Department has organised a two day State-level Science Exhibition on 27.01.2023 & 28.01.2023 at Tripuravasini Auditorium, Palace Grounds, Bengaluru, to inculcate a scientific perspective, interest in science, and to identify and encourage the talents of the students. Students belonging to 200 KREIS residential schools and Minorities Residential schools will be participating in the exhibition, said Major P. Manivannan, Principal Secretary to Govt, Social Welfare Dept.
This State-level Science Expo will be inaugurated by Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Basavaraj S. Bommai on 27.01.2023 at 9.30 am and will witness the science models presented by the students and will encourage the scientific temperament and talents of the students. Ministers, MLAs, MPs and other dignitaries will be the guests of honour at the event.
During the two-day state-level science Expo, students will prepare and showcase innovative working Models related to science, mathematics, information technology and other fields. Around 1500 Students from 200 residential schools selected from 92 SC Schools, 45 ST schools, 36 OBC and 27 Minority Schools will participate in the exhibition. The students have already reached Bangalore and are into making necessary preparations. All required transport, accommodation, food and other facilities have been provided to the students. All necessary steps have already been taken to successfully organise this Expo.
Indian Army is also participating in the Expo. The Indian Army will display latest weapons and senior army officers will give information about the Indian Army to the students.
Reputed Science institutes like ISRO, IISc, Agasthya Foundation, Bharatha Jnana Vignana samiti, Nehru planetarium, Vishveshvaraiah Museum etc. are also participating in the event and have organized demonstrations of science experiments for the acquisition of knowledge by children and teachers. ISRO will display the models Satellites and Rockets. HAL will display the models of Aircrafts and Helicopters. Vintage cars also will be on display at the event.
Students, teachers and science enthusiasts from Bengaluru city and surrounding districts are expected in large numbers to witness the science Expo, he said.
He also stated that this State Level Science Expo is open to the Public on the both days and urged the parents to voluntarily bring their children to the Expo on both days to see the science models, encourage the children to develop the spirit of discovery, innovations, research and scientific temper among the children and has sought co-operation to make this event successful.
