Mysuru, Jan. 08, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): A total number of 5,495 candidates including 3113 men and 2382 women have gained eligibility to become Assistant Professors, by passing the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Assistant Professorship, conducted by the University of Mysore.
Addressing a press meet held at the Academic Council auditorium in the Crawford Hall today, Prof. G. Hemanth Kumar, Vice-Chancellor, University of Mysore provided the information. He explained that a total number of 1,06,396 candidates had applied for KSET exams and 79717 of them attended the exams. Out of them 5495 candidates have become eligible to become Assistant Professors in only Karnataka State Universities and First Grade Colleges.
“Certificates will be distributed to all the eligible candidates, from the Karnataka State Eligibility Test (KSET) for Assistant Professorship, University of Mysore. This certificate will be valid for the entire lifetime,” he explained.
