ಮೈಸೂರು, ಅ.22, 2021 : (www.justkannada.in news ) : ಕರೋನಾ ಲಾಕ್ ಡೌನ್ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶುಲ್ಕದ ಹಣವನ್ನು ಅನಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ದುಂದು ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಸಂಕಷ್ಟದ ಸಮಯದಲ್ಲೂ 85 ಲಕ್ಷ ರೂ. ವೆಚ್ಚ ಮಾಡಿ ದುಬಾರಿ ಕಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಆರ್.ಟಿ.ಐ ಅಡಿ ಪಡೆದುಕೊಂಡಿರುವ ಮಾಹಿತಿಯನ್ನು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಹಾಗೂ ಮುಖ್ಯಮಂತ್ರಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರದ ಮೂಲಕ ರವಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಈ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಶುಕ್ರವಾರ ಪತ್ರಿಕಾಗೋಷ್ಠಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಹಿಂದುಳಿದ ವರ್ಗಗಳ ಜಾಗೃತ ವೇದಿಕೆ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್. ಶಿವರಾಮು ಹೇಳಿದಿಷ್ಟು.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾನಿಲಯದಲ್ಲಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಶುಲ್ಕದ ಹಣದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ -19 ಲಾಕ್‍ಡೌನ್ ನಡುವೆಯೂ ಹಣಕಾಸು ಸಮಿತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ತೀರ್ಮಾನವನ್ನು ತಿರುಚಿ, ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳ ಕಛೇರಿ ಉಪಯೋಗಕ್ಕೆ ಹಾಲೀ ಒಂದು 2010ರ ಐಶಾರಾಮಿ ಹೋಂಡಾ ಅಕಾರ್ಡ್, 2010 ಮತ್ತು 2015ರ ಎರಡು ಟೊಯೊಟಾ ಇನ್ನೋವಾ ಕಾರುಗಳು ಲಭ್ಯವಿದ್ದರೂ ಸಹ ಮಾರ್ಚ್ 2021ರಲ್ಲಿ ಸುಮಾರು ರೂ. 85-00 ಲಕ್ಷಗಳ ವೆಚ್ಛದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುರಿಯಾಗಿ ಐಶಾರಾಮಿ 3 ಹೊಸ ಟೊಯೊಟಾ ಇನ್ನೋವಾ ಕಾರುಗಳನ್ನು ಖರೀದಿಸಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಕೆಲವು ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪನಾ ಮಂಡಳಿಯ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ಸದಸ್ಯರ ರಾಜಕೀಯ ಹಿತಾಸಕ್ತಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸ್ವಪ್ರತಿಷ್ಟೆ ಮೆರೆಸುವುದಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ 895 ಲಕ್ಷಗಳ ವೆಚ್ಛದಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರೀ ಶಾಲೆಗಳ ಕಾಂಪೌಂಡ್ ಕಾಮಗಾರಿ, ನವೀಕರಣ ಮತ್ತು ಪೀಠೋಪಕರಣ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಕೈಗೆತ್ತಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿರುತ್ತದೆ.
ಇವೆಲ್ಲದರ ಮಧ್ಯೆ ಈ ವರ್ಷ ಪ್ರವೇಶಾತಿ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ಏಕಾಏಕಿ ಶೇಕಡ 35 ರಿಂದ 50ರವರೆಗೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಿರುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇದೇ ಮೊದಲ ಬಾರಿಗೆ ಸಿಲ್ವರ್ ಜ್ಯುಬಿಲಿ ಫೀಸ್, ಅಡ್ಮೀಷನ್ ಪ್ರೋಸಸ್ ಫೀಸ್, ಡೆವಲಪ್ಮೆಂಟ್ ಫೀಸ್ ಅಲೂಮ್ನಿ ಫೀಸ್ ಕಡ್ಡಾಯಗೊಳಿಸಿ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಸಾಂಕ್ರಾಮಿಕದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಹೊಡೆತದಿಂದ ಕುಗ್ಗಿಹೋಗಿರುವ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳ ಮೇಲೆ ಶುಲ್ಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಳದ ಹೊರೆಯನ್ನು ಹೇರಿ ಅವರ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣದ ಕನಸಿಗೆ ತೊಡಕುಂಟುಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಇವುಗಳಿಂದ ಕರಾಮುವಿಯ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲದ ಪೋಲು, ಅತಿಯಾದ ದುಂದುವೆಚ್ಛ ಮತ್ತು ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಗೆ ತೀರ್ವ ಹೊರೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರವೇಶಾತಿಗೆ ಕುಂದುಂಟು ಮಾಡಿರುವ ಕರಾಮುವಿಯ ಕುಲಪತಿಗಳು ಮತ್ತು ಶಾಸನಬದ್ಧ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸುವಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರವನ್ನು ಒತ್ತಾಯಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Mysuru, October 22, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The Karnataka State Open University (KSOU) is under fire again for spending unnecessarily on purchasing a luxury car, costing around Rs. 85 lakh, in a situation when everyone is facing difficulty due to the COVID-19 Pandemic.
The information accrued through RTI has been forwarded to the Hon’ble Governor and Chief Minister.
Addressing a press meet today, K.S. Shivaramu, President, Karnataka State Backward Castes Awareness Forum said, “The KSOU has purchased three new luxury Toyota Innova cars at a cost of a whopping Rs. 85 lakh, despite there being already three cars for the Vice-Chancellor’s use. The purchase has been made amending the decision of the finance committee and the Board of Management.”
Further, he alleged that several other works including repairing of the government school compound, renewal, and supplying of furniture have also been undertaken at a cost of Rs. 895 lakh, giving prominence to the political interest of a few Board members and self-interest.
“The admission fee has increased by 35% to 50% and above all this, several other fees like Silver Jubilee fee, Admission Process Fee, Development Fee, Alumni Fee have been made compulsory, burdening the students who are already facing deep financial trouble due to the COVID-19 Pandemic,” he added.
He demanded the governor and the State Government to take necessary action against the Vice-Chancellor of KSOU and statutory officers who are misusing the funds.
