ಮೈಸೂರು, ಸೆಪ್ಟೆಂಬರ್ ೬, ೨೦೨೧ (www.justkannada.in): ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತ ವಿವಿ ಜತೆಗೆ (ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಒಯು) ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಶೈಕ್ಷಣಿಕ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದಂತಹ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪದವಿ ನೀಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಒಯುಗೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಕೋರಿ ದಿಲ್ಲಿಯ ಯುಜಿಸಿ ಕಚೇರಿ ಎದುರು ಇಂದು ಏಕಾಂಗಿ ಪ್ರತಿಭಟನೆ ನಡೆಸಿ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ.
ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಮುಕ್ತ ವಿಶ್ವವಿದ್ಯಾಲಯದ (ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಒಯು) ನಿರ್ವಹಣಾ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಮಾಜಿ ಸದಸ್ಯ ಕೆ.ಎಸ್. ಶಿವರಾಮು ಈ ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದು, ಅವರು ಹೇಳಿರುವುದಿಷ್ಟು..
ಈ ಹಿಂದೆ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಒಯುದೊಂದಿಗೆ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದ ಹಲವು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ದೂರು ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಕೌನ್ಸಿಲ್ ವತಿಯಿಂದಾಗಲೀ ಅಥವಾ ಯುಜಿಸಿ/ ಎಐಸಿಟಿಇ ವತಿಯಿಂದಾಗಲೀ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿಲ್ಲದ ಕಾರಣದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅವುಗಳ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ಅಂತ್ಯಗೊಂಡಿವೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ, ಇದು ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಒಯುನ ಪ್ರಾದೇಶಿಕ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಪ್ತಿಯ ಉಲ್ಲಂಘನೆಯೂ ಆಗಿದ್ದು, ಇದರಿಂದಾಗಿ ಅಂತಹ ಸಂಯೋಜನೆ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ ಮಾನ್ಯತೆ ರದ್ದಾಗಿರುವ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಪದವಿಗಳನ್ನು ನೀಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಒಯುಗೆ ನಿರ್ದೇಶ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಯುಜಿಸಿಗೆ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿರುವೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ರಾಜ್ಯಪಾಲರಿಗೂ ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದು, ಈ ಕೂಡಲೇ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಒಯುಗೆ ಪದವಿ ನೀಡುವುದನ್ನು ನಿಲ್ಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚನೆ ನೀಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಹಾಗೂ ಕೆಎಸ್‌ಒಯುನ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಯ ವಿರುದ್ಧ ಕಾನೂನು ಕ್ರಮ ಜರುಗಿಸಬೇಕೆಂದು ಮನವಿ ಮಾಡಿರುವೆ ಎಂದಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

I am K S Shivaramu, Ex-Member, Board of Management, Karnataka State Open University (KSOU), Mysusu.
Today I have agitated alone before UGC & submitted a detailed representation urging to issue a comprehensive directions to KSOU to stop issuing Degrees to the students of its earlier terminated Academic
Collaborative Institutions since they are not recognised either previously by the Distance Education Council or by the UGC/AICTE and also violative of the Territorial Jurisdiction of KSOU.
I once again urge UGC through your esteemed media to issue immediate comprehensive direction s to KSOU stop issuing any Degrees of any year of Its Academic Collaborative Institutions as they are not recognised and
also to the Hon’ble Governor Karnataka/ Chancellor to issue orders to initiate action as per law against the concerned Officer of KSOU for their repeated attempts to issue these Unrecognised Degrees at the cost of Career of students all over the country.
Request you give wide publicity regarding the fate of the said Degrees through your esteemed Media to caution the students from the colourful manipulation of these Academic Collaborative Institutions and their study centers.
