ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಜೂನ್,1,2023(www.justkannada.in): ಮುಂಚೂಣಿ ಐಫೋನ್ ತಯಾರಿಕಾ ಕಂಪನಿ ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ ಕಾನ್ 2024ರ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 1ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಘಟಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಉತ್ಪಾದನೆ ಆರಂಭಿಸುವ ಗುರಿ ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದು, ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಪೂರಕವಾಗಿ ಜುಲೈ 1ರ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಪೂರ್ತಿಯಾಗಿ ಭೂಮಿ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸುವುದಾಗಿ ಭಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಗುರುವಾರ ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಜಾರ್ಜ್ ಚು ಅವರ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಫಾಕ್ಸ್ ಕಾನ್ ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಉನ್ನತ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗಳ ತಂಡವು ಸೌಜನ್ಯದ ಭೇಟಿ ನೀಡಿದ್ದ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಅವರು ಹೀಗೆ ಹೇಳಿದರು. ಐಟಿ-ಬಿಟಿ ಸಚಿವ ಪ್ರಿಯಾಂಕ್ ಖರ್ಗೆ ಅವರೂ ಹಾಜರಿದ್ದರು
ಇದರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಕಾಂಗ್ರೆಸ್ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ಹೊಸ ಸರ್ಕಾರವು 50,000 ಜನರಿಗೆ ಉದ್ಯೋಗ ಒದಗಿಸುವ 13,600 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿಯ ಮೊತ್ತದ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆ ಜಾರಿಗೆ ವೇಗ ನೀಡಿದಂತಾಗಿದೆ.
ದೇವನಹಳ್ಳಿ ಸಾಮಾನ್ಯ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ (ಐಟಿಐಆರ್) ಕಾರ್ಯಯೋಜನೆಗಾಗಿ 300 ಎಕರೆ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. 2024ರ ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್ 1ರ ವೇಳೆಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ಶುರು ಮಾಡುವ ಗುರಿ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಗಮನದಲ್ಲಿರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಜುಲೈ 1ಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಕಂಪನಿಗೆ ಭೂಮಿ ಹಸ್ತಾಂತರಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು ಎಂದರು.
ಕಂಪನಿಯು ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ 50 ಲಕ್ಷ ಲೀಟರ್ ನೀರು ಬೇಕಾಗುವುದಾಗಿ ತಿಳಿಸಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ವಿದ್ಯುತ್, ರಸ್ತೆ ಸಂಪರ್ಕ ಇತ್ಯಾದಿ ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಸ್ಪಷ್ಟಪಡಿಸಿದರು.
ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಸಿಬ್ಬಂದಿಗೆ ಬೇಕಾಗುವ ಕೌಶಲ ವಿವರಗಳನ್ನು ಕೂಡ ಕೇಳಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ತಕ್ಕಂತೆ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ಅರ್ಹರಿಗೆ ಕೌಶಲಗಳ ತರಬೇತಿ ಕೊಟ್ಟು ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಲಭ್ಯವಾಗಿಸಲು ಒತ್ತು ಕೊಡುವುದಾಗಿಯೂ ಅವರು ತಿಳಿಸಿದರು.
ತೈವಾನ್ ಮೂಲದ ಮುಂಚೂಣಿ ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಮೂರು ಹಂತಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಘಟಕ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಪೂರೈಸಿ ಅಂತಿಮವಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ 2 ಕೋಟಿ ಮೊಬೈಲ್‌ ಗಳನ್ನು ತಯಾರಿಸುವ ಯೋಜನೆ ಹಾಕಿಕೊಂಡಿದೆ. ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಭೂಮಿಗಾಗಿ ನಿಗದಿಗೊಳಿಸಿರುವ ಮೊತ್ತದಲ್ಲಿ ಶೇಕಡಾ 30ರಷ್ಟನ್ನು (90 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂಪಾಯಿ) ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಕೆ.ಐ.ಎ.ಡಿ.ಬಿ.ಗೆ ಪಾವತಿಸಿದೆ.
ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಪೌಲ್ ಲಿಯು, ಟಾನ್ನಿ ಲಿಯು, ಸೈಮನ್ ಸಾಂಗ್, ಭಾರತ್ ದಂಡಿ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಇದ್ದರು. ಇದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುನ್ನ ಜುಬಿಲಿಯಂಟ್ ಫುಡ್ ವರ್ಕ್ಸ್ ನ ಕಾರ್ಯನಿರ್ವಾಹಕ ಉಪಾಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಅಮರದೀಪಸಿಂಗ್ ಅಹ್ಲುವಾಲಿಯಾ, ಎಫ್ಐಸಿಸಿಐ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಂಡಳದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಕೆ. ಉಲ್ಲಾಸ್ ಕಾಮತ್, ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಂಡಳದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ಶಜು ಮಂಗಳಂ, ಸಿಐಐ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ಮಂಡಲ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷ ವಿಜಯಕೃಷ್ಣನ್ ವೆಂಕಟೇಶನ್ ಮತ್ತಿತರರು ಸಚಿವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದರು.
ಐಟಿ ಬಿಟಿ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ರಮಣ ರೆಡ್ಡಿ, ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಇಲಾಖೆ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸೆಲ್ವಕುಮಾರ್, ಇಲಾಖೆ ಆಯುಕ್ತೆ ಗುಂಜನ್ ಕೃಷ್ಣ ಅವರು ಇದ್ದರು.

Bengaluru: Minister for large and medium industries MB Patil on Thursday said that the Foxconn company has plans to start manufacturing iPhone units by 2024 April at its’ proposed Devanahalli plant
and the state government would hand over the required land for the company by July 1 to facilitate this.
He stated this while the representatives of the company led by George Chu met him as part of the courtesy visit. IT/BT minister Priyanka Kharge was also present.
With this, the new government has speeded up the process of the Rs. 13,600 crore project which is expected to create 50,000 jobs.
“The identified 300 acres of land at ITIR of Devanahalli would be handed over by July 1. Along with this, the Government would ensure providing 5 MLD of water, quality power supply, road connectivity and other infrastructure facilities”, he explained.
“The company has been asked to provide the details of the skill sets it seeks in employees. Accordingly, steps will be taken to facilitate training programmes for eligible candidates to make them employable,” Patil elaborated.
The Taiwan-based global company has already paid 30% of the cost towards the land (Rs. 90 crores) to KIADB. It has set the goal to complete the project in three faces and has set a target of manufacturing 20 million units (2 crore units) annually from the plant after the completion of three phases.
Paul Liu, Tonn Liu, Simon Song, Bharath Dandi and others from Foxconn were present.
Earlier, Amardeep Singh Ahluwalia, EVP, Jubilant Foodworks, K Ullas Kamat, Chairman, FICCI Karnataka Council, Shaju Mangalam, Head, FICCI Karnataka Council, Vijaykrishnan Venkatesan, chairman, CII Karnataka council met the minister.
Dr EV Ramana Reddy, ACS, Department of IT, S. Selva Kumar, Principal Secretary, Commerce and Industries, and Gunjan Krishna, Commissioner, Department of Commerce and Industries were also present.
