ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಜೂನ್,10,2022(www.justkannada.in): ಜೂನ್ 13 ರಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಧಾನಪರಿಷತ್ ನ ಪದವೀಧರ ಹಾಗು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ, ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿನ ಮತದಾರ ನೌಕರರಿಗೆ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಾಂದರ್ಭಿಕ ರಜೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿದೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಆದೇಶ ಹೊರಡಿಸಿರುವ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಅಧೀನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಅಪೇಕ್ಷಾ ಸತೀಶ್ ಪವಾರ್, ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಲಾ ಕಾಲೇಜು, ಅನುದಾನ ಹಾಗೂ ಅನುದಾನ ರಹಿತ, ಸಹಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು, ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕಚೇರಿಗಳು, ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಕೃತ ಹಾಗೂ ಇತರೆ ಬ್ಯಾಂಕ್ ಗಳಿಗೆ ಇತರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳ ಪದವೀಧರ ಮತದಾರಿಗೆ ಸಾಂದರ್ಭಿಕ ರಜೆ ನೀಡುವಂತೆ ಸೂಚಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. 
ಎರಡು ಪದವೀಧರ ಹಾಗೂ ಎರಡು ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರಗಳಿಗೆ ಜೂನ್ 13 ರಂದು ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದ್ದು ಅಂದು ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರದಿಂದ ವಿಶೇಷ ಸಾಂದರ್ಭಿಕ ರಜೆಯನ್ನು ಘೋಷಣೆ ಮಾಡಿದೆ.
ದಕ್ಷಿಣ ಪದವೀಧರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಮೈಸೂರು, ಚಾಮರಾಜನಗರ, ಮಂಡ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಹಾಸನ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳು, ವಾಯುವ್ಯ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ವಿಜಯಪುರ, ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ, ಪಶ್ಚಿಮ ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಧಾರವಾಡ, ಹಾವೇರಿ, ಗದಗ ಮತ್ತು ಉತ್ತರ ಕನ್ನಡ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳು ವಾಯುವ್ಯ ಪದವೀಧರ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ವಿಜಯಪುರ, ಬಾಗಲಕೋಟೆ ಮತ್ತು ಬೆಳಗಾವಿ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಚುನಾವಣೆ ನಡೆಯಲಿದೆ.

MLC elections on June 13: Govt. announces special occasion holiday
Bengaluru, June 10, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The State Government has issued orders to grant a special occasion holiday on June 13, on the occasion of the Legislative Council, Graduates’ and Teachers Constituency elections, to the employees’ of government and private sector who are eligible to vote.
The order issued by Under Secretary to the Government Apeksha Satish Kumar stated that instructions are given to all the government and private schools and colleges, aided and unaided, educational institutions, Union and State Govt. offices, nationalized and other banks and other companies to provide holiday in order to exercise their franchise.
Elections will be held for two graduates and two teachers constituencies on June 13.
While South Graduates’ Constituency includes Mysuru, Chamarajanagara, Mandya and Hassan Districts, Vijayapura, Bagalkote and Belagavi comes under the North West Teachers’ Constituency. The West Teachers’ Constituency includes Dharwad, Haveri, Gadag and Uttara Kannada Districts, and South West Graduates’ Constituency covers Vijayapura, Bagalkot and Belagavi, where elections will be held.
