ಮೈಸೂರು, ಮೇ ೧, ೨೦೨೧ (www.justkannada.in): ಮೈಸೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಹೆಚ್ಚುತ್ತಿರುವ ಕೋವಿಡ್ ಪ್ರಕರಣಗಳಿಂದಾಗಿ ಆತಂಕ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗಿದ್ದು, ಲಸಿಕೆಗಳು, ಚುಚ್ಚುಮದ್ದು, ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕ, ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಗಳು, ಔಷಧಗಳ ಅಭಾವವೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚಾಗುವ ಸಾಧ್ಯತೆಗಳಿವೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತವು ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಸೂಪರ್‌ಸ್ಪೆಷಾಲಿಟಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕಸಹಿತದ ಹಾಸಿಗೆಗಳ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ೫೦೦ಕ್ಕೆ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸುವುದರ ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇತರೆ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಇದರ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯನ್ನು ಹೆಚ್ಚಿಸಲು ಯೋಜನೆ ರೂಪಿಸಿದೆ.
ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಡಳಿತವು ಈ ನಿಟ್ಟಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಪೊಲೀಸ್ ಮಹಾನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರು ಹಾಗೂ ರಾಜ್ಯ ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕ ಸರಬರಾಜು ಸಮಿತಿಯ ನೋಡಲ್ ಅಧಿಕಾರಿಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದಿದ್ದು, ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಪ್ರತಿ ದಿನಕ್ಕೆ ೨೦ ಕೆಎಲ್ ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕದ ಅಗತ್ಯವಿರುವ ಕುರಿತು ವಿವರಿಸಿ, ಕೂಡಲೇ ಹೆಚ್ಚುವರಿ ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕವನ್ನು ಪೂರೈಸುವಂತೆ ಕೋರಿದೆ.
ಈವರೆಗೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗೆ ಅಗತ್ಯತೆಯ ಪ್ರಕಾರ ಮೂರು ದಿನಗಳಿಗೊಮ್ಮೆ ಬಳ್ಳಾರಿಯ ಮೆ. ಪ್ರಾಕ್ಸಿರ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಪ್ರೈ.ಲಿ.ನಿಂದ ಅಂದಾಜು ೧೫ ಕೆಎಲ್ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೆ. ಭೋರುಖಾ ಗ್ಯಾಸಸ್ ಲಿ, ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಿಂದ ೧೦ ಕೆಎಲ್‌ನಷ್ಟು ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕ ಪೂರೈಕೆಯಾಗುತಿತ್ತು. ಒಟ್ಟು ೨೪ ಕೆಎಲ್ ನಷ್ಟು ಆಮ್ಲಜನಕವನ್ನು ಮೈಸೂರು ಹಾಗೂ ನೆರೆಯ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಗಳ ವಿವಿಧ ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಒದಗಿಸಲಾಗುತಿತ್ತು.

Requirement of Liquid Medical Oxygen In Mysuru District
With respect to the above cited subject, it is brought to your notice that as per our district medical oxygen requirements, as on today we have been receiving Approx 15 KL of LMO from Ms. Praxir India Pvt Ltd, Bellary and 10 KL from Ms. Bhoruka Gases Itd Bengaluru once in three days. Total of 24 KL is currently being utilised for supply to various Government and Private hospitals of Mysiuru district and neighbouring Districts. As the the cases of COVID-19 is increasing in Mysuru district, & keeping in view the expansion of 500 oxygenated bed facility at Super Speciality Hospital and increase in oxygenated bed capacity in pvt Hospitals, an additional 20KL/day of LMO is required immediately for catering to the oxygen demand in Mysore District.
Further, It is broutght to your notice that on 26 April; 2021, the Cryogenic Tanker bearing Regn No- KA-01-AG-8351 carrying 15.5 KL Liquid Medical Oxygen from M/s. Praxair India Pvt Ltd, Bellary to Mysuru was interrupted midway at Chitradurga District, and 5KL of LMO was unloaded at Basveshwara Medical College, Chitradaurga, and remaining stock of 10.5 KL of LMO was received in Mysuru which lead to shortage of LMO here. It is therefore requested that adequate steps be taken to avoid such incidents in future. Further in order to cater the daily requirement of medical oxygen in the district it is requested to facilitate us by providing an additional 20KL of LMO to our district.
