Mysuru, August 13, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): The country is at the doorstep of the 75th Independence Day, which could have been celebrated in a grand manner. But, due to the fear of COVID-19 Pandemic this year’s I-Day celebrations has been limited only to flag hoisting. However, Ramachandraraje Urs, DDPI Mysuru has instructed to hoist the tricolours in all the schools compulsorily in Mysuru District.
“The Education Department has made all preparations for the celebration of Independence Day. This time the celebration will be very simple as per the government instructions. Flag hoisting in all the schools are made compulsory. Using plastic flags is restricted. Only SDMC members and teachers will be allowed to participate. There will be no students participation and no cultural activities. This year also the Independence Day is restricted only to flag hoisting,” he informed.
However, arrangements have been made to telecast the celebrations in schools online to reach the students.
