ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಜುಲೈ,18,2023(www.justkannada.in): ಕೋಲಾರ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ವೇಮಗಲ್‌ ಸಮೀಪದ ಬಾವನಹಳ್ಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿರುವ 720 ಎಕರೆ ಪ್ರದೇಶದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೈಟೆಕ್‌ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಪಡಿಸಲು ಆಸಕ್ತಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಜಪಾನಿನ ಮಾರುಬೇನಿ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಷನ್‌ನ ಉನ್ನತ ಮಟ್ಟದ ನಿಯೋಗವು ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಭಾರಿ ಮತ್ತು ಮಧ್ಯಮ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ.ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರೊಂದಿಗೆ ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಿತು.
ಕಂಪನಿಯ ಅಹವಾಲು ಕೇಳಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್, “ಮಾರುಬೇನಿ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಷನ್‌ ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ಪ್ರಸ್ತಾವನೆ ಆಕರ್ಷಕವಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ವಿವರವಾಗಿ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ಮಾಡಿ, ಸರಕಾರ ಸೂಕ್ತ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ಕಂಪನಿಯು ತನ್ನ ಪ್ರಾತ್ಯಕ್ಷಿಕೆ ತೋರಿಸಿ, ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಹೈಟೆಕ್‌ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ನೇರವಾಗಿ 2,800 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು. ನಂತರ ಅಲ್ಲಿನ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ನಿವೇಶನಗಳನ್ನು ಆಸಕ್ತ ಉದ್ದಿಮೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಹಂಚಲಾಗುವುದು. ಆ ಹಂತದಲ್ಲಿ ನೇರ ವಿದೇಶಿ ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮೂಲಕ ಇನ್ನೂ 8,000 ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಇಲ್ಲಿಗೆ ಹರಿದು ಬರಲಿದೆ. ಜತೆಗೆ ಇಲ್ಲಿ 40 ಸಾವಿರ ಉದ್ಯೋಗಾವಕಾಶಗಳು ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಯಾಗಲಿವೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಒಟ್ಟಾರೆಯಾಗಿ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕದ ಆರ್ಥಿಕತೆಗೆ ವರ್ಷಕ್ಕೆ 2 ಬಿಲಿಯನ್‌ ಡಾಲರ್ ಸೇರ್ಪಡೆಯಾಗಲಿದೆ. ತಮ್ಮ ದೇಶದ (ಜಪಾನ್‌) ಆರ್ಥಿಕ, ವಾಣಿಜ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಸಚಿವಾಲಯವು ಈ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶಾಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದ ಕಾರ್ಯಸಾಧ್ಯತಾ ವರದಿಯನ್ನು ಅಂಗೀಕರಿಸಿದೆ ಎಂದು ವಿವರಿಸಿತು.
ಜಪಾನಿನ ರಾಜಧಾನಿ ಟೋಕಿಯೋದಲ್ಲಿ ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಕಚೇರಿ ಹೊಂದಿರುವ ಮಾರುಬೇನಿ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಷನ್‌ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಚೀನಾ, ಫಿಲಿಪ್ಪೀನ್ಸ್, ಥಾಯ್ಲೆಂಡ್‌ ಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಹೈಟೆಕ್‌ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪಾರ್ಕ್ ಗಳನ್ನು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸಿದೆ. ಜೊತೆಗೆ ಇಂಡೋನೇಷ್ಯಾ, ಮ್ಯಾನ್ಮಾರ್, ವಿಯಟ್ನಾಂ ಮುಂತಾದ ದೇಶಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಇಂತಹ ಕೈಗಾರಿಕಾ ಪ್ರದೇಶಗಳನ್ನು ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಪಡಿಸುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ನಿಯೋಗವು ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಹಿತಿ ನೀಡಿತು.
ಕಂಪನಿಯು ಮುಖ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಾಮಾಜಿಕ ಮೂಲಸೌಲಭ್ಯ, ಆರೋಗ್ಯ ಮತ್ತು ವೈದ್ಯಕೀಯ, ವೆಲ್‌ ನೆಸ್‌ ತರಹದ ವಲಯಗಳಿಗೆ ಆದ್ಯತೆ ನೀಡುತ್ತದೆ. ಇವುಗಳ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಡಿಜಿಟಲ್‌ ಸ್ಟ್ರಾಟೆಜಿ, ಇನ್ನೋವೇ‍ಶನ್‌ ಸ್ಟ್ರಾಟೆಜಿ, ಸ್ಮಾರ್ಟ್ ಸಿಟಿ, ಡಿಕಾರ್ಬನೈಸೇಶನ್‌, ಫಾರ್ಮಾ ಮುಂತಾದವನ್ನು ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಅಲ್ಲದೆ, ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಕೆಐಎಡಿಬಿ ಜತೆ ನಿರಂತರವಾಗಿ ಚರ್ಚಿಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಅದು ಮನದಟ್ಟು ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟಿತು.
ಮಾರುಬೇನಿ ಕಾರ್ಪೊರೇಷನ್‌ ನ ಉಪ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ಶಿರೋಜೋನೊ ಕಾಜೌಕಿ, ಮಾರುಬೇನಿ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ಲಿಮಿಟೆಡ್ ನ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥಾಪಕ ತಕಾಯಿಕಾ ಯೋಶಿದಾ ನೇತೃತ್ವದ ನಿಯೋಗ ಸಚಿವರನ್ನು ಭೇಟಿ ಮಾಡಿತು.
ಈ ಸಂದರ್ಭದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ಪ್ರಧಾನ ಕಾರ್ಯದರ್ಶಿ ಸೆಲ್ವಕುಮಾರ್ ಮುಂತಾದವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.

Marubeni leadership team holds meeting with Minister MB Patil
Bengaluru: The leadership team of Marubeni Corporation from Japan which is keen to set up a high-tech industrial park on 720 acres at Bavanahalli near Vemagal of Kolara district met large and medium industries minister MB Patil on Tuesday and discussed taking forward the project.
Speaking on the occasion Minister Patil said that the government was eager to take forward the project and related decisions will be taken after convening a high-level meeting.
The representatives of the company who made a presentation about the project stated that the initial investment for the project is estimated to be Rs. 2,800 Crores. They added this in turn would bring Rs. 8,000 Crores in the form of FDI (foreign direct investment) taking the total investment to over Rs. 10,000 Crore and generating 40,000 jobs. In all it would add 2 Billion Dollars to the economy of Karnataka, they claimed.
They also informed during the meeting that the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry of Japan (MEIT, Japan) had approved the feasibility report on the project.
Marubeni Corporation which is headquartered in Tokyo has developed high-tech industrial parks in countries such as China, Thailand, and the Philippines. It was informed that currently, its projects are underway in Indonesia, Myanmar, Vietnam and a few other countries.
The company caters to the needs of social infrastructure, health, and wellness identifying digital strategy, innovation strategy, smart city and decarbonisation as key sectors.
The delegates of the company apprised the minister that the company had entered into an MoU with the state government during Global Investors Meet-2022.
Shirozono Kazuaki, Dy. General Manager, Marubeni Corporation, Yoshida Takayuki, General Manager, Marubeni India Pvt. Ltd, Mr Toyoda Takafumi, Project Manager – Next Generation Industrial Park, Marubeni Corporation were among those who represented the company. Selva Kumar, principal secretary, of the Department of Industries attended the meeting.
