ಮೈಸೂರು,ಆಗಸ್ಟ್,30,2022(www.justkannada.in): ಅದ್ಭುತ ಹಾಕಿ ಆಟಗಾರರಾದ ಮೇಜರ್ ಧ್ಯಾನ್ ಚಂದ್ ಸ್ಮರಣಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ದಿನವೂ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಸಂಭ್ರಮದಿಂದ ಆಚರಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟಿತು.
ಕೇಂದ್ರ ಸರ್ಕಾರದ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಮತ್ತು ಯುವಜನ ವ್ಯವಹಾರ ವಿಭಾಗ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರವು “ಮೀಟ್ ದಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್” ಎಂಬ ವಿಶೇಷ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮವನ್ನು ಶ್ರೀ ರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ಶಾಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಆಯೋಜಿಸಿತ್ತು. ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಚಾಂಪಿಯನ್ ಕ್ರೀಡಾಪಟು ಮತ್ತು ಅಂತರರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಪ್ಯಾರಾ ಈಜುಗಾರರಾದ ನಿರಂಜನ್ ಮುಕುಂದನ್ ಅವರು ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಾಗಿ ಆಗಮಿಸಿದ್ದರು. ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಸ್ಪೋರ್ಟ್ಸ್ ಅಥಾರಿಟಿ ಆಫ್ ಇಂಡಿಯಾ ದ ಸಹಾಯಕ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮೋನಿಕಾ ಅವರು ಕೂಡ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಾಲೆಯ ಈಜುಕೊಳದ ಬಳಿ ಆರಂಭವಾದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ವಿಶೇಷವಾದ ಈಜು ಕೌಶಲ್ಯಗಳನ್ನು ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಿ ಕವಾಯತು ಮಾಡಿ ಮುಖ್ಯ ಅತಿಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸ್ವಾಗತ ಕೋರಿದರು. ಕೆಲವು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ನಿರಂಜನ್ ಮುಕುಂದನ್ ಅವರು ಟೇಬಲ್ ಟೆನಿಸ್ ಆಡಿ ಸಭಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದ ಸಾಂಕೇತಿಕ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನೆ ಮಾಡಿದರು. ನಂತರ ಶಾಲೆಯ ಸಭಾಂಗಣದ ಒಳಗೆ ನಡೆದ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿವಿಧ ಶಾಲೆಯ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳನ್ನು ಉದ್ದೇಶಿಸಿ ನಿರಂಜನ್ ಮುಕುಂದನ್ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದರು.
ಸಮತೋಲನದ ಆಹಾರ, ಉನ್ನತವಾದ ಗುರಿಯನ್ನು ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಳ್ಳುವ ಅಗತ್ಯ, ದಿನನಿತ್ಯದ ಸಾಧನೆ, ಪ್ರತಿಕೂಲ ಪರಿಸ್ಥಿತಿಯನ್ನು ಲೆಕ್ಕಿಸದೆ ಮುನ್ನುಗ್ಗುವ ಧೈರ್ಯದ ಮಹತ್ವವನ್ನು ಕುರಿತು ಅವರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿಕೊಟ್ಟರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಸಾಧನೆ ಮಾಡಲು ಪ್ರೇರಣೆ ನೀಡಿದ ಅವರು ಕಷ್ಟ ಬಂದಾಗ ಕುಗ್ಗದೆ, ಧೈರ್ಯದಿಂದ ಪ್ರಯತ್ನಶೀಲರಾಗವುದರ ಮೂಲಕ ಜಯಶಾಲಿಯಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಯಶಸ್ಸಿನ ಗುಟ್ಟು ಹೇಳಿದರು.
ಪ್ರಧಾನಮಂತ್ರಿಯವರ ಸಂದೇಶವಿದ್ದ ವಿಡಿಯೋವನ್ನು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರದರ್ಶಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ನಂತರ ಕ್ರೀಡೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಿಸಿದಂತೆ ನಡೆದ ಒಂದು ರಸಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಜೇತ ಐದು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಒಲಂಪಿಕ್ ಜರ್ಸಿಯನ್ನು ಬಹುಮಾನವಾಗಿ ವಿತರಿಸಲಾಯಿತು. ಹಲವಾರು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಕೇಳಿದ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗೆ ಸ್ಪೂರ್ತಿದಾಯಕ ಉತ್ತರವನ್ನು ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಅವರು ಸಂವಾದವನ್ನು ನಡೆಸಿದರು.
ಈ ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಮೈಸೂರಿನ ಶ್ರೀರಾಮಕೃಷ್ಣ ಆಶ್ರಮದ ಅಧ್ಯಕ್ಷರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತ್ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಮುಕ್ತಿದಾನಂದ ಜಿ, ವಿದ್ಯಾಶಾಲೆಯ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥರಾದ ಶ್ರೀಮತ್ ಸ್ವಾಮಿ ಯುಕ್ತೇಶಾನಂದ ಜಿ , ಪ್ರಾಂಶುಪಾಲರಾದ ಎಸ್ ಬಾಲಾಜಿ ಮತ್ತು ಭಾರತೀಯ ಕ್ರೀಡಾ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ ಉಪನಿರ್ದೇಶಕ ರಾದ ಡಾ. ಮೋನಿಕಾ ವೇದಿಕೆಯ ಮೇಲೆ ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು.
ವಿದ್ಯಶಾಲೆಯ ದೈಹಿಕ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನಿರ್ದೇಶಕರಾದ ಡಿ.ಸುದರ್ಶನ್ ಮತ್ತು ಬಿ.ಆರ್.ರವಿ ಅವರು ಉಪಸ್ಥಿತರಿದ್ದರು. ಶಿಕ್ಷಕರು ಮತ್ತು 500ಕ್ಕೂ ಹೆಚ್ಚು ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳು ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಪಾಲ್ಗೊಂಡು ಸಂಭ್ರಮಿಸಿದರು.

‘Meet the Champion’ celebration at Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashale: International Para Swimmer Niranjan Mukundan takes part
Mysuru, August 30, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala, Mysuru, had organized a program on the occasion of the National Sports Day celebrations in memory of India’s renowned hockey player Major Dhyan Chand.
The Sports and Youth Affairs Department, Govt. of India, in association with the National Sports Authority had organized the ‘Meet The Champion’ program at the Sri Ramakrishna Vidyashala. India’s renowned International Para Swimmer Niranjan Mukundan participated as the chief guest. Dr. Monika, Assistant Director, Sports Authority of India, National Sports Authority graced the occasion. Students of the school presented their swimming and aquatic skills at the pool located inside the school premises and welcomed the guests. Niranjan Mukundan inaugurated the dais program symbolically by playing table tennis with the students. He later addressed the students, at the program held in the auditorium.
“In sports it is very important to maintain a balanced diet and have a higher aim. You should practice daily and develop a mindset of forging ahead under any difficult circumstances,” he advised the students.
Swami Muktidanandaji, President, Sri Ramakrishna Ashrama, Mysuru, Srimat Swami Yukteshanandaji, Head of the School, Principal S. Balaji and National Sports Authority Deputy Director Dr. Monika were present on the dais.
Physical Education Department Director D.Sudarshan of Ramakrishna Vidyashala and B.R. Ravi were present. Teachers and more than 500 students took part in the program.
