Bengaluru, November 5, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Leader of the Opposition Siddaramaiah had criticized the BJP State Govt.’s plans to introduce 10 minutes of meditation by students in schools and colleges mandatorily. In his response to this, the Primary and Secondary Education Minister B.C. Nagesh has replied.
In a tweet, the Minister B.C. Nagesh expressed his view it is very unfortunate that people are attempting to create confusion even in the 10-minute meditation matter in schools and colleges. How will meditation by the students become a gimmick? Can you please explain it to the people,” his tweet read.
“According to the researchers, doctors, scientists, meditation and yoga is very useful to maintain good physical and mental health. But it is only you who is saying that the students will get demoralized. It is so ridiculous,” he stated.
