Bengaluru, Mar.29, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): “The concern expressed by Minister J.C. Madhuswamy on no development in the State due to the dictatorship attitude of the Govt. of India, and increasing unemployment condition is, in fact, the opinion of 6.5 crore people of this state. This is what I have also been telling from the last seven years,” opined former CM Siddaramaiah.
The former CM in his tweet with a hashtag ‘Dictator Modi’ read, “the recent amendment to the agricultural policies of the Government of India which is dangerous for the farmers is a proof of snatching the autonomy of the States that our Constitution has provided. Karnataka has not received a sum of Rs.8538 crores tax share and a sum of Rs. 1,310 crore grants from the Govt. of India. Along with this, the Govt. of India has also put a clip on the Rs.5,495 special grants for Karnataka. Despite all this, our 25 MPs are not uttering even a single word.”
“The BJP government at the centre is uprooting the entire system by making unilateral amendments to the constitutional laws concerning the States and by forcing the states to agree on it. The Govt. of India’s dictatorial attitude is the reason for the economic bankruptcy of the States,” the tweet read.
