ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು,ಮಾರ್ಚ್,22,2025 (www.justkannada.in): ರಾಜಧಾನಿಯಲ್ಲಿ 2ನೇ ಅಂತಾರಾಷ್ಟ್ರೀಯ ಹಸಿರು ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಮೂರು ಸ್ಥಳಗಳನ್ನು ಆಯ್ಕೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಈ ಜಾಗಗಳ ಪೂರ್ವಕಾರ್ಯ ಸಾಧ್ಯತಾ ಅಧ್ಯಯನಕ್ಕೆಂದು ಭಾರತೀಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಗಳ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರದ (ಎಎಐ) ಬಹುಶಿಸ್ತೀಯ ತಂಡವು ಏ.7ರಿಂದ 9ರೊಳಗೆ ರಾಜ್ಯಕ್ಕೆ ಆಗಮಿಸಲಿದೆ. ಈ ಸಂಬಂಧ ಈಗಾಗಲೇ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ಕೆಎಸ್ಐಐಡಿಸಿ ವತಿಯಿಂದ ₹1.21 ಕೋಟಿ ಶುಲ್ಕವನ್ನು ಪಾವತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಮೂಲಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಸದಾಶಿವನಗರದ ತಮ್ಮ ನಿವಾಸದಲ್ಲಿ ಮಾಧ್ಯಮ ಪ್ರತಿನಿಧಿಗಳ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಅವರು, ಕನಕಪುರ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಎರಡು ಮತ್ತು ನೆಲಮಂಗಲ- ಕುಣಿಗಲ್ ರಸ್ತೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದು ಜಾಗವನ್ನು ಈ ಸಲುವಾಗಿ ಗುರುತಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ ಎಂದರು.
ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಅಂತಿಮಪಡಿಸಿರುವ ತಾಣಗಳನ್ನು ಬಂದು ಪರಿಶೀಲಿಸುವಂತೆ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಪ್ರಾಧಿಕಾರಕ್ಕೆ ನಮ್ಮ ಇಲಾಖೆಯಿಂದ ಈ ತಿಂಗಳ 5ರಂದು ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆಯಲಾಗಿತ್ತು. ಅದರಂತೆ ತಂಡವು ಬರುತ್ತಿದೆ. ತಂಡದ ಸೂಚನೆಯಂತೆ ನಾವು ಈ ತಾಣಗಳ ಕಂದಾಯ ನಕಾಶೆ, 10 ವರ್ಷಗಳ ಹವಾಮಾನ ವರದಿ, ಈ ಜಾಗಗಳ ಜಾಮಿತೀಯ ಲಕ್ಷಣಗಳನ್ನು ವಿವರಿಸುವ ಚಿತ್ರ, ಭಾರತೀಯ ಸರ್ವೇ ಇಲಾಖೆಯ ನಕಾಶೆ, ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದಲ್ಲಿನ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಸ್ವರೂಪ (ವಿಎಫ್ಆರ್/ಐಎಫ್ಆರ್) ತಿಳಿಸುವ ವಿವರ ಮುಂತಾದವನ್ನು ಸಿದ್ಧಪಡಿಸಿಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದೇವೆ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ವಿವರಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನಲ್ಲಿ ಈಗ ಇರುವ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣದ ಮೇಲೆ ಅತೀವ ಒತ್ತಡವಿದೆ. ಇನ್ನೊಂದೆಡೆಯಲ್ಲಿ, 2033ಕ್ಕೆ ಸರಿಯಾಗಿ 150 ಕಿ.ಮೀ ವ್ಯಾಪ್ತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಮತ್ತೊಂದು ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಹೊಂದುವಂತಿಲ್ಲ ಎನ್ನುವ ಷರತ್ತು ಕೊನೆಗೊಳ್ಳಲಿದೆ. ಇವೆಲ್ಲವನ್ನೂ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಇಟ್ಟುಕೊಂಡು ಎರಡನೆಯ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಈಗಿನಿಂದಲೇ ಮುಂದಡಿ ಇಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಹೀಗೆಯೇ ಮುಂದುವರಿದರೆ 2033ರ ಹೊತ್ತಿಗೆ ಅದು ಬಳಕೆಗೆ ಸಿದ್ಧವಾಗಬಹುದು ಎಂದು ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಹೇಳಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
`ಕೆಲವರು ತುಮಕೂರಿನ ಶಿರಾ ಸಮೀಪ ಉದ್ದೇಶಿತ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣ ಮಾಡಬೇಕೆಂದು ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ ಈ ಕಾರ್ಯಬೇಡಿಕೆ ಸಾಧುವಲ್ಲ. ಶಿರಾದಲ್ಲಿ ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ಮಾಡಿದರೆ ಶಿವಮೊಗ್ಗ, ವಿಜಯಪುರದಲ್ಲಿ ಇರುವಂತೆ ಅದೇನಿದ್ದರೂ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಮಟ್ಟದ್ದಾಗುತ್ತದೆ ಅಷ್ಟೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿನ ಜನರಿಗೆ ಅನುಕೂಲ ಆಗಬೇಕಾದರೆ ಅದು ಬೆಂಗಳೂರಿಗೆ ಸನಿಹದಲ್ಲೇ ಇರಬೇಕು. ಆಗ ಮಾತ್ರ ಹೂಡಿಕೆದಾರ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಗಳು ವಿಮಾನ ನಿಲ್ದಾಣ ನಿರ್ಮಾಣಕ್ಕೆ ಬರುತ್ತಾರೆ. ಇಲ್ಲದಿದ್ಧರೆ ಯೋಜನೆಯೇ ಕಾರ್ಯಸಾಧುವಾಗುವುದಿಲ್ಲ’ ಎಂದು ಅವರು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಯೊಂದಕ್ಕೆ ಉತ್ತರಿಸಿದರು.
ಬಲ್ದೋಟ ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯ: ಸೂಕ್ತ ಕ್ರಮ
ಕೊಪ್ಪಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಬಲ್ದೋಟ ಸಮೂಹವು 54 ಸಾವಿರ ಕೋಟಿ ರೂ. ಹೂಡಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಿ, ಬಹುದೊಡ್ಡ ಉಕ್ಕು ತಯಾರಿಕೆ ಕಾರ್ಖಾನೆ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲು ಮುಂದಾಗಿದೆ. ಇದರಿಂದ ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯ ಉಂಟಾಗಲಿದೆ ಎಂದು ಗವಿಮಠದ ಸ್ವಾಮೀಜಿಗಳ ನೇತೃತ್ವದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಮಾಲಿನ್ಯದ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಐಐಎಸ್ಸಿಯಂತಹ ತಟಸ್ಥ ಸಂಸ್ಥೆಯಿಂದ ಅಧ್ಯಯನ ನಡೆಸಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಅದರ ವರದಿಗೆ ಅನುಗುಣವಾಗಿ ಮುಂದಿನ ಕ್ರಮ ಕೈಗೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗುವುದು. ಒಬ್ಬ ಸಚಿವನಾಗಿ ನನಗೆ ಉದ್ಯಮಗಳು ಬೆಳೆಯಬೇಕಾದ ಅನಿವಾರ್ಯತೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸಾರ್ವಜನಿಕರ ಧ್ವನಿ ಎರಡೂ ಅರ್ಥವಾಗುತ್ತವೆ. ಇದರಲ್ಲಿ ರಾಜಕೀಯವೇನೂ ಇಲ್ಲ ಎಂದು ಎಂ.ಬಿ ಪಾಟೀಲ್ ಭರವಸೆ ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

Second Airport: Arrival of Central Team between April 7-9

Bengaluru: Three locations have been identified for the second international greenfield airport in the capital city. A multidisciplinary team from the Airports Authority of India (AAI) will visit the state between April 7 to 9 for a feasibility study of these sites. It has been reported that the Karnataka State Industrial and Infrastructure Development Corporation (KSIIDC) has already paid a fee of ₹1.21 crore to the authority, according to Infrastructure Development Minister M. B. Patil, who spoke to the media on Saturday from his residence in Sadashivanagar.
He mentioned that two locations on the Kanakapura Road and one on the Nelamangala-Kunigal Road have been identified for the project.
“We had written a letter to the Airport Authority on the 5th of this month, requesting them to inspect the final identified sites for the proposed airport. As per their instructions, the team will visit. We have already prepared documents such as the revenue map of these sites, 10 years’ worth of weather reports, detailed images of the sites’ geographic features, maps from the Survey of India, and operational details of the proposed airport (VFR/IFR),” he explained.
Currently, the existing airport in Bengaluru is under immense pressure. On the other hand, the condition that there should not be another airport within a 150 km radius by 2033 will soon expire. Keeping this in mind, work on the second airport is being expedited, and if things go as planned, it could be ready for use by 2033, Patil stated.
“Some are insisting on constructing the proposed airport near Shira in Tumkur, but this is not feasible. If an airport is built in Shira, it will be just like the district-level airports in Shivamogga and Vijayapura. To serve the people of Bengaluru, the airport must be located near the city. Only then will investors be interested in constructing the airport. Without this, the project will not be feasible,” he responded to a query.
Baldota: Appropriate Action
In Koppal, Baldota Group is planning to invest ₹54,000 crore to set up a large-scale steel manufacturing plant, which is expected to cause pollution. A protest is being led by the head of Gavimath, Swamiji, against this development. An independent study by an organization like IISC is being conducted on the pollution issue, and further action will be taken based on the report. As a minister, I understand both the necessity of industrial growth and the public’s concerns. There is no political agenda in this matter, Patil assured.
