Mysuru, January 3, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): Mysuru District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar today, launched the COVID vaccination drive for children aged between 15-18 years at the Maharani Women’s College.
In his address, he informed that the government aims to administer COVID vaccination to 1.50 lakh children in Mysuru District. “Two hundred teams will visit rural areas in the district on January 5 and administer the vaccines to the children at schools. The District Administration, Mysuru City Corporation, and Health Departments have set an aim to cover all the children within the next 15 days. I request all the children to take the vaccine without fear,” he said.
MLA L. Nagendra, Mayor Sunanda Palanetra, Deputy Commissioner Bagadi Gowtham, MCC Commissioner Lakshmikantareddy, and others were present.
