Mysuru, November 1, 2022 (www.justkannada.in): The historic Mysuru Dasara and Jamboo Savari programs were conducted in a grand manner this year by the State Government. Mysuru District Incharge Minister S.T. Somashekar today presented the details of expenditure of the Mysuru Dasara program after nearly one month after the celebrations.
A total sum of Rs. 31,08,88,819 were mobilized for the Mysuru Dasara celebrations 2022, including Rs. 10 crore from MUDA, Rs. 15 crore from the Kannada and Culture Department, Rs. 5 crore from the Palace Administration Board, Rs. 32.50 lakh through sponsorships, Rs.76 lakh from sale of tickets and gold cards.
A total sum of Rs. 26,54,49,058 were spend for the Dasara Mahotsav this year. A sum of Rs. 2.20 crore was spent for the Dasara celebrations held at Mandya, Chamarajanagara and Hassan. The total amount spent for this year’s Dasara mahotsav is Rs.28,74,49,058. A sum of Rs. 2,34,39,761 is remaining, as revealed by the Minister. He also instructed the district officers to scrutinize with guidance from the Deputy Commissioner.
