Mysuru, August 23, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): MP Pratap Simha and BJP MLC H. Vishwanath had locked their horns over the Mysore-Bangalore 10-lane highway work credit. Mysuru BJP MLA S.A. Ramdas, who has responded over this has stated that the credit doesn’t go to any party, and the credit goes to Bharat Mata.
Speaking in Mysuru today, he explained that the 10-lane highway construction is undertaken with public money. “Nobody should claim it as their contribution. It is a development work of all. I have also made efforts for road construction in my constituency. But I don’t claim it as my credit. The credit goes to all the departments and the setup. It is the same with the National highway works,” he added.
On the occasion, he also expressed his displeasure over organizing the BJP Janashirvada rally and warned of following all the COVID precautionary measures without fail. “COVID rules apply to all irrespective of politicians and public. It should not trouble the people. We have also participated in rallies in our constituency, however, we followed all the precautionary measures,” he said.
