ಮೈಸೂರು,ಏಪ್ರಿಲ್,29,2021(www.justkannada.in): ನಿನ್ನೆ ಸುದ್ಧಿಗೋಷ್ಠಿ ವೇಳೆ ಜಿಲ್ಲಾ ಉಸ್ತುವಾರಿ ಸಚಿವರು ಬದುಕಿದ್ದಾರಾ ಎಂದು ಟೀಕಿಸಿದ್ದ ಮಾಜಿ ಸಚಿವ ಹಾಗೂ ಶಾಸಕ ಸಾ.ರಾ ಮಹೇಶ್ ಗೆ ಸಚಿವ ಎಸ್ ಟಿ ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್ ತಿರುಗೇಟು ನೀಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಇಂದು ಮಾಧ್ಯಮಗಳ ಜತೆ ಮಾತನಾಡಿದ ಸಚಿವ ಎಸ್.ಟಿ ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್, ನಾನು ಬದುಕಿದ್ದಾನಾ? ಕೆ.ಆರ್. ನಗರದ ಶಾಸಕರು ಬದುಕಿದ್ದಾರಾ? ಎಂದು ಜನರ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಿ ಹೇಳಲಿ. ಮೈಸೂರಿನ 11 ವಿಧಾನಸಭಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಕರೋನಾ ಕುರಿತು ಸಭೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಎಲ್ಲಾ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದಲ್ಲೂ ಆಯಾ ಆಯಾ ಶಾಸಕರು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಬಂದು ಚರ್ಚೆ ಮಾಡಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಆದರೆ, ಕೆ.ಆರ್.ನಗರದ ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಶಾಸಕರು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಬರಲಿಲ್ಲ. ಕ್ಷೇತ್ರದ ಜನರ ಬಗ್ಗೆ ಕಾಳಜಿ ಇದ್ದರೆ ಅವರು ಸಭೆಗೆ ಬರಬೇಕಿತ್ತು ಎಂದು ಕುಟುಕಿದರು.
ನಾನು ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜನರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕೊಡಲು ಸಿದ್ಧ….
ನಾನು ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜನರಿಗಾಗಿ ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕೊಡುವುದಕ್ಕೂ ಸಿದ್ಧನಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಹಗಲಿರುಳು ಈ ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜನರಿಗಾಗಿ ಕೆಲಸ ಮಾಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದೇನೆ. ಇದನ್ನು ಜಿಲ್ಲೆಯ ಜ‌ನ ಗಮನಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಈಗ ಜನರೇ ತೀರ್ಮಾನ ಮಾಡಲಿ ಯಾರು ಬದುಕಿದ್ದಾರೆ ಅಂತಾ? ಎಂದು ಶಾಸಕ ಸಾ.ರಾ ಮಹೇಶ್ ಗೆ ಟಾಂಗ್ ನೀಡಿದರು.
ನನಗೂ ದಿನಕ್ಕೂ ವೆಂಟಿಲೇಟರ್ , ಬೆಡ್ ಗಾಗಿ ಹತ್ತಾರು ಕರೆ ಬರುತ್ತವೆ. ನಾನು ಯಾರಿಗೂ ಇನ್ಪ್ಲೂಯೆನ್ಸ್ ಮಾಡಿಲ್ಲ. ಯಾಕೆಂದರೆ ನನ್ನ ಇನ್ಫ್ಲೂಯೆನ್ಸ್ ನಿಂದ ಇನ್ನೊಬ್ಬ ರೋಗಿಗೆ ತೊಂದರೆ ಆಗಬಾರದು ಅಂತ. ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಬದ್ಧತೆ. ಇದು ನನ್ನ ಕಾರ್ಯವೈಖರಿ ಎಂದು ಸಚಿವ ಎಸ್. ಟಿ ಸೋಮಶೇಖರ್ ತಿರುಗೇಟು ನೀಡಿದರು.

Mysuru, Apr. 29, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): Former Minister and MLA Sa. Ra. Mahesh in a press meet held yesterday had questioned whether the District In-charge Minister was alive?! The District In-charge Minister S.T. Somashekar in his reply to this today replied that let the people know whether I am alive or K.R. Nagar MLA is alive! “I had conducted a meeting 11 meetings in my assembly constituency limits. All the MLAs of the respective constituencies visited and discussed, except K.R. Nagar MLA. If he had a concern about his constituency people he should have come and discussed,” he said.
“I am ready to sacrifice my life for the cause of the people of Mysuru district. I am working day and night and people have also noticed it. Let them decide whether I am alive or he is alive,” He attacked.
“I also receive a lot of phone calls inquiring about the availability of ventilators and beds. I have not used my influence anywhere, because I feel that from my influence another person may face difficulty. It is my commitment and it is my style of working,” he added.
