Bengaluru, Dec. 17, 2020 (www.justkannada.in): An MoU between the Govt. of Karnataka and UK, on bilateral cooperation in higher educational institutions with the UK was signed in the presence of Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa today.
Speaking at his residential office Krishna B.S. Yedyurappa said that a three-year agreement was signed with the British Government on leadership development in higher educational institutions and this is the first of its kind MoU.
Speaking on the occasion Barbara Vikham, Director British Council (India) said this MoU would ensure a strong relationship between Govt. of Karnataka and the UK in terms of education and it will reflect the aspirations of the new National Education Policy – 2020 of the Government of India. It helps in providing the students of Karnataka more higher education and job opportunities and fulfills the aim of the State Government in ensuring quality higher education.
