ಈ ಕುರಿತು ಸಿಎಂ ಬಿಎಸ್ ವೈಗೆ ಪತ್ರ ಬರೆದಿರುವ ಶಾಸಕ ಜಿ.ಟಿ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು, ರಸ್ತೆ, ರೈಲು ಹಾಗೂ ವಿಮಾನಯಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಇತ್ತೀಚಿಗೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ಗಣನೀಯವಾಗಿ ಹತ್ತು ಹಲವು ಯೋಜನೆಗಳ ಮೂಲಕ ಅಭಿವೃದ್ಧಿ ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಿದೆ. ಈ ಹಿನ್ನೆಲೆ ಮೈಸೂರು ನಗರಕ್ಕೆ ಅಗತ್ಯವಾಗಿ ಸಮರ್ಪಕ ಕುಡಿಯುವ ನೀರಿನ ಸೌಕರ್ಯ ಹಾಗೂ ಉತ್ತಮ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆಯ ಒಳ ಚರಂಡಿ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಕಲ್ಪಿಸಲು ನೀರು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ಮಂಡಳಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ಪತ್ರದಲ್ಲಿ ಆಗ್ರಹಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.
ಹತ್ತು ಪಥದ ರಸ್ತೆ, ಡಬಲ್ ಟ್ರಾಕ್ ರೈಲ್ವೆ ಹಾಗೂ ಮೈಸೂರಿನಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ವಿಮಾನ ಹಾರಾಟ ವಾಗಿರುವುದರಿಂದ ಹೆಚ್ಚಿನ ಸಂಖ್ಯೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಜನರು ಮೈಸೂರಿನತ್ತ ಅಗಮಿಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬೆಂಗಳೂರನ್ನ ಹೊರತುಪಡಿಸಿ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಅತಿ ವೇಗವಾಗಿ ಬೆಳೆಯುತ್ತಿರುವ ಎರಡನೇ ನಗರವಾಗಿದೆ. ಕೂಡಲೇ ಮೈಸೂರು ನೀರು ಸರಬರಾಜು ಹಾಗೂ ಒಳಚರಂಡಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವಂತೆ ಸಿಎಂಗೆ ಶಾಸಕ ಜಿಟಿ ದೇವೇಗೌಡರು ಮನವಿ ಸಲ್ಲಿಸಿದ್ದಾರೆ.

MLA G.T. Devegowda writes to CM BSY: Reason ….?
Mysuru, Mar. 02, 2021 (www.justkannada.in): MLA G.T. Devegowda has written a letter to Chief Minister B.S. Yedyurappa demanding to establish Water Supply and Sewerage Board for Mysuru City.
In his letter, the MLA has mentioned that Mysuru city is witnessing a lot of development in recent days in road, train, and air transportation sectors and also other developmental projects. In this context, he has demanded the Chief Minister to establish a separate water supply and sewerage board for Mysuru city to ensure a good water supply and sewerage system in the city.
“Mysuru City is becoming more accessible from Bengaluru via the upcoming 10-lane highway, double train track and from the commencement of air transport and many people are eyeing at Mysuru city. Hence, Mysuru has become the second-fastest developing city in the City after Bengaluru. I request the Chief Minister to establish the Water Supply and Sewerage Board in Mysuru City,” he has urged.
